フェリー旅行のメリット
- 島によってはフェリーのみが交通手段となります。多くの場合、今までに訪れたいと思っていた、最も美しい、ポストカードやパラダイスのような島々がそれにあたります。
- 様々なチケットクラスが利用できるので、自分に最適な料金や快適レベル、移動時間、スケジュールを選択できます。
- 時間を節約するためにオンライン予約をしましょう。多くのルートで、事前予約は必須となっています。長距離の移動、祝日や大型連休およびピークシーズンなどの繁忙期の旅行は特に気を付けましょう。利用ルートが毎日限られた本数しか運航されていない場合、最低でも旅行の数日前には予約しておくことをおすすめします。
- フェリーでの移動は楽しいです。他のアングルから（この場合は水上からですが）旅行場所を眺めてみるのも良いでしょう。ほとんどの目的地は水上からも素敵に見え、素晴らしい写真を撮影する機会が持てるでしょう。
フェリー旅行のデメリット
- 船酔いはフェリー旅行者が抱える一番の懸念です。移動が長くなるほど海上が荒れるので、船酔いする確率が上がります。快適な移動にするために、フェリーに乗船する30分前に船酔い薬を飲み、前述したアドバイスに従いましょう。
- フェリー旅行は天候に左右されます。雨天の場合は出発が遅れたりキャンセルになることもあります。大きな島間では、悪天候によりフェリーの乗り継ぎが数日間中止になることも稀ではありません。フェリーの後にフライトを乗り継ぐ予定がある場合、本島への到着が大幅に遅れる可能性があることを念頭に入れておかなければなりません。

We got what we have paid for, knowing that it was more expensive than direct fares but as last year the speed boat was full booked and we had to wait for the next one we thought it was worth the money.
Only comment is for the speed boat, the step to get on bobard is vert high, not really convenient for ederly people, Théo should by a stock.stool

Fähre war schnell und in Ordnung. Der Transfer vom pier hätte mit einem Mini bus sein sollen. Gekommen ist ein Taxi das für unser wakeboard Gepäck zu klein war. Sie haben dann sehr schnell ein offenes tuktuk organisiert das dann groß genug war.

Wir wurden frühzeitig darüber informiert, daß das Speedboot defekt sei und wir eine halbe Stunde später fahren müssten. Sehr nettes Personal auf dem Boot, sowie am Pier. Sehr gerne wieder.. : )

Alles wie beschrieben, man muss nur aufpassen, da der Busfahrer einen gerne schon beim 1. Stopp aus dem Bus haben will ( gilt für Kombiticket mit Fähre) und der Transport zum Pier kostet extra, momentan 50B

Sehr gut wir hatten ein ticket um 10 uhr gebucht waren aber schon um 7 uhr dort und konnten dann ohne problem schon mit dem speedboat um 7:30 mitfahren!
Das personal war sehr freundlich!

A really pleasant drive from the airport to the pier with a very friendly driver, who even took us to an ATM and to get some food on route which was very kind. The only thing I would say was that this 20 minute journey was very expensive.

It was ok. The usual Asian style way. Bought combi bus/boatticket which stated transport to pier was included. But is was not! At the bus office stop noone seem to speak English (same as on bus). Were dropped at the pier to be transported again to another pier. All arranged but without any explaination in English. If you find that annoying, be prepaired. Speedboat was fine, lifevests on board and quick service.

Obwohl wir Bus und Fähre zusammen gebucht haben war der Transfer von Niomit-Office zum Pier nicht inklusive (70bath/person)...
Man kann die Fähre auch direkt vor Ort buchen. Das ist besser, falls der Bus mal Verspätung hat.
Und hier gibt es auch günstigere (aber langsamere) Fähren...
Ich buche die Fähre nicht mehr online...

Personnel désagréable. Bus excellent. Mauvaise qualité des routes. Arrivés 1 heure en retard.
Attention aux taxis de la Nava Andaman qui demandent à se faire payer lorsqu'ils vous déposent à Ranong.
