We booked the ferry directly from the new port in Kampot to Koh Rong Samloem, and the whole process could not have gone better. We left and arrived as scheduled. It was a very comfortable ride and I felt safe throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to book this trip again in the future

the boat was new and comfortable and the team was competent, helping passengers board even with strong waves and working quickly to keep to schedule. However, the boat driver drove it at a crazy speed and the passengers were jumping the entire trip, as if we were on a roller coaster. As the windows were open we got wet, some people were soaked for the whole day. We arrived at our destination 01:30 after boarding, and not 45 minutes as it said on the ticket.

Het was een ferry zoals we verwachten, geen cruiseschip. Beetje onduidelijk omdat ter plaatse lagen vier ferrys van dezelfde maatschappij. En het personeel sprak nergens engels . Beetje zoeken.

Positive: we left at around 14:15 and got to Coconut Beach on time. Negative: Service was as already mentioned in the other reviews not great. They almost forgot my suitcase at the peer, so double check when they load the boat. Everything was very chaotic. Obviously there is no alternative for traveling to Coconut Beach, so I guess we are just happy we got here.

The boat was 30 mins late and we had a bus to catch at the destination port. But they reached in time , we didn't miss our bus though. The speed at which we were travelling was too high and there were no life jackets in the boat.

I read the critics below and I find that is not fair. On that day there was a rough sea and there was no chance to hold an exact timetable. The boat captain drove as fast as possible and some of the passengers were sea-thick. In fact it was a terrible trip. The crew did their best and it was a really hard job. Thanks to the crew.

Speedboat? Das Boot war zwar pünktlich, aber von Coconut-Beach nach Sihanoukville dauerte der Trip fast 2 1/2 Stunden.

Es handelt sich um die gleiche Kompanie, die uns von Phnom Penh nach Sihanoukville gebracht hat. Fazit: völlig desorganisiert. Vom Bus Stop musste ich 10 $ Taxi bezahlen um zu dem Ticketschalter zu kommen. Von dort wurden wir mit einem völlig Verkehrs-und tauglichen Gefährt wieder zurück zur Bushaltestelle und dann weiter zum Hafen gefahren. Am Hafen mussten wir unser Gepäck durch schlammiges dreckiges Wasser bei strömendem Regen schleppen, um an den Pier mit dem Boot zu kommen. Von dort ging es dann relativ zügig zur Insel. Die Hafenanlage ist völlig verdreckt und voller Plastikmüll. Horror!

Из-за задержки автобусново рейса, по вине компании, опоздали на лодку до острова на 14 часа. Спасибо, что нас отправили на рейс в 17:00. Бесплатно довезли с одного причала на другой(30мин), но выехали мы в итоге в 18:00, час без приничы стояли на причале и непонятно чего или кого ждали

The only thing this company does is getting you from A to B. Do not buy the ticket online as we got to enter the boat last, meaning sitting in the splash zone or standing the whole way. One of our luggages was quite wet as there was no room in the compartment. When we were going to the island first time we took Buva, there were multiple people completely soaked head to toe as the driver had no mercy or regard to slow down at least a bit from boats top speed. Needless to say bouncing around on the wavy sea was included, luckily no-one puked.

Thank you! Buva Sea Cambodia ferry transportation for waiting for us for we are 10 minutes late and the smooth ferry ride. We hired a private taxi from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. Informed that our ferry leave at 2 pm and the taxi company told us that will pick us at 9am. However, seeing that we couldn't make it to reach the terminal in time, we asked the driver to help us to call the Cambodia Buva Sea ferry. The Cambodia Buva Sea ferry staff noted that we are reaching and waited for us. Thank you so much for the great service. If not, we will need to waif for the next transportation at 5 pm.

We left one the time. 5pm. But the trip was 1h45 min. I think before we go streight to Salomen but not we did 5 stop until freedom Beach. I don't now if usually it's like this but the girl tell me the first stop is freedom but not it was the last one

Need to confirm the ticket in the office 24 hours before to guarantee your seat which I didn't see online but heard of when on the island. The boat was decent but was 45 minutes late, so only just made my bus. Probably a few too many passengers on board too - it's a smaller boat so not as comfy as the bigger one I got to the island with a different company. Would probably use them again if needed, though being late made the trip a bit more stressful (having to get a bus and flight the same day).

Wurden morgens um 9 Uhr informiert, dass das Speedboat nicht um 12.30 sondern bereits um 11 ablegt. Wir machten uns darum gleich auf den Weg. Dann wurden wir aber nicht wie gebucht 30 minuten später am SokSan Beach abgeladen sondern an der Coconout Beach von wcher aus wir nochmals 1h Fahrt mit einem Van hatten. Waren somit 1h 45 unterwegs. Für den Rückweg lassen wir unsere Tickets aber verfallen und gehen mit dem Speedboat vom Hotel (gleicher Preis wie Buva Sea) da wir direkt weiter zum Flughafen müssen und dabei dann eine Stunde Van fahrt - die eine Stunde zu lange ist.

Retour ein älteres Schiff - und ich weiß wirklich nicht, weshalb wir über 1Stunde vor Abfahrt am Pier sein sollten. Dass man sein Ticket für die Rückfahrt extra bestätigen lassen muss frisst auch Zeit. TIPP eines Reisebüro-Menschen: Gleich bei Ankunft auf der Insel Koh Rong Samloem erledigen!

We have book a sperdboat who took 45 minutes. This boat doesn‘t exist. Instrad we must took the karamaran, who takes 2 hours. I habe asked a man from the company, but he won‘t understand me that I want my money back. On the way back, the man sax that it exist not an quick speedboat. On boath ways we have seeting places on the ticket, but it comes a XL Katamaran. Greetings > Tanja

The basic journey was fine - EXCEPT a younger member of the docking crew played his mobile phone at top volume through 85% of the journey.. I didn't want to listen to his media and I'm sure most other people don't either. Very rude

It’s a little chaotic getting on the boat, not helped that they have two boats going at the same time but no signage, everybody asking which boat they should be - communication poor, and on arrival at Islands again not good with telling you which pier you’re at, good old Google maps helped!

The sea was not good. The pilot not really friendly and go really fast with big waves. People with seasick. Really dangerous when you are to the first places in the boat. Seat unconfortable when your body jumping during 35 minutes.

The ship departed late, and the employees were not up to the task. We got off at the second stop, and they literally forgot to unload the luggage. We had to remind them several times that all the passengers were waiting for it. The speedboat was fine, although it was pretty dirty.

The ferry didn’t come due to “a storm”. In nice calm weather. So they stuck us in the ferry to Sihanoukville and from there on a 3 hours busdrive. It was low season, so suspect the boat wasn’t filled up, and this solution was cheaper.

Our 6.30 am ferry left on time, and after a quick stop at M'Pai Bay we arrived at the port at 7.10. everything went like clockwork and I felt safe the entire ride. Keep in mind this is often a speedboat so it does go fast. You have to ask your hotel to confirm your trip the day before, otherwise the boat might not stop, but our hotel already knew and did it without us having to ask. I'd easily book with Buvasea again, both trips were great. Staff was helpful too!

The boat showed up at 630am so we didn't leave until 645am or so Do not expect a great service, the guys will take you to paint A to point B. The interior is smaller than the other ferry line so it was more cramped. I traveled with them because I had to catch an early bus and that was the only ferry leaving early.
