The tour was excellent. We arrived over an hour early in chiang mai, check in was simple, seat comfortable and they provided a blanket. The toilet in the bus was CLEAN and worked! If you know flix bus in Europe this is 1000 times better. They gave water, and snacks. You can charge your phone on the bus and they do stop during the night for food at a restaurant. No internet on board but that isn’t promised either. They do turn off the lights during the night

Nice welcome at office, staff speak english. Old bus very unconfortable, suspension so hard, lot of vibrations impossible to rest! Driver stop 4 times but never say anything so finaly i went out to restroom ...Ordinaire buses take same time to Hia in, nothing was Vip on that trip!

I always use Sombat Tour between BKK and Hua Hin. Excellent bus service. 12Go booking site advised to be at the bus station one hour before departure time but it was not necessary. I waited too long doing nothing.15 minutes before departure time is enough.

I had done the tour from Bangkok to Chiang mai already, which was great. The bus is really comfortable with only one huge armchair-like seat on each side of the aisle. On the way to Chiang Mai we had only one restroom/food break at around half past 11, so it was easy to sleep the rest of the time.
But this time one the way to Bangkok the bus stopped every hour or so to ler passengers alight and enter. Every time the lights would go on and wake you up. The break was around 12:15 am, which is late for a toilet break after over 5 hours.
Afterwards the bus still stopped every hour for new passengers but arrived half an hour early at 4:30 am in Bangkok, which normally would be great but at such an early time when nothing is open I would rather try to sleep half an hour longer.
All in all, I think it is a good and cheap way to travel but the amount of sleep you get really depends.
Also it is not a services aimed at foreigners, there is never an English translation for the announcements. Its not a critique because I don't expect them to go through that effort for the one or two foreigners on each tour. It's just something to be aware of, but not an issue because you will still realise what is happening.

Very comfortable VIP bus (3 seats per row) with lots of leg room. Driver dropped us off close to Mo Chit BTS station and bus stops. Would happily use this service again.

Outstanding level of comfort for a coach. Only downside is that the seat spaces are built for Thai people and not Europeans, meaning that there was little leg room for a taller person.

Seats were comfortable and the AC was fine. They give you small snacks and water. Had I not reviewed some of the prior comments, I wouldn't have known about the dinner stop at 1 AM or so. NO explanation / comment ever given prior to the stop. Food was ok. It's included in the ticket price. It was a very long ride for only 1 bathroom stop but I did it.

It was really good experience. The seats are big enough, you can have also massage, they give you some sugar snacks which are totally fine, they give a bottle of water. We stopped just one time in the middle of a trip. Everything was good.

Seats are comfortable, they give you small snacks and earplugs to watch movies. Not much directions given for the meal we had at the bus stop (included in the ticket) it would be nice if it was explained a little. Overall we were comfortable for that very long trip !

돈므앙으로 방콕에 도착한 뒤 곧장 후아힌으로 이동하는 데 가장 완벽한 선택이었던 것 같네요. 출발 시간은 조금 늦었고 방콕 시내 다소 교통체증이 있었는데도 후아힌 도착은 정시에 했어요. 의자는 매우 넓고 편안하며 실내 공기도 쾌적합니다.

Reclining spacious seats blankets water and light snack. This made the 10hr journey comfortable. There were taxis waiting at the end but overcharge massively so haggle if you can. Recommend this VIP coach which only worked out at about £25 for the two of us. Great value

The check in at Chiang Mai was very quick and efficient. The seats were very comfortable with a lot of leg room, very good recline and massage. The hostess was beautiful, spoke a little English and was extremely polite and helpful. Was there any reason to complain? No. We were the only two western travellers and any food was not European but Hey!! We are in Thailand not France!! We are vegetarian and at the stop for food I had rice, eggs, tofu and mushroom. The air on was on and we had blankets and pillows. I enjoyed the experience because 12goAsia made everything so easy for me.

Staff at bus station were helpful and polite. Luggage was looked after well in Left Luggage. Although bus left a little late due to passenger late arrival, we arrived at destination ahead of schedule.

Great chairs with plenty of space and recline options, as well as USB charging ports. Steward was very friendly, spoke English and announced everything in both languages. Tons of snacks brought around at the start and the next morning, along with a stop for (included) dinner. Bus was roughly on time (8:20-8:30 at the junction towards the Laos border). Great experience, would recommend.

I strongly discourage tourists from using the lower-priced shuttle van services in Thailand. The drivers go way too fast (in this case, our driver was going 130km/h - that’s 80mph) on less than stellar roadways and despite numerous obstacles and hazards in every kilometer. I understand Thai culture encourages drivers to disregard safety concerns (it could never happen to them) but statistically, Thailand roads are the 2nd most fatal (per capita) after Libya, with something like 24,000 road deaths per year. We all drive in our home countries, and as Westerners, know that 80mph or 130 km/h is not safe, even on super-smooth highways with embankments. You are much safer, and much better off paying a bit more for a full size bus ticket, train or taxi.
Our driver today was a very nice guy who works very hard to please everyone, and is clearly a highly-skilled driver; but the almost universal disregard for passenger safety in Thailand (including our driver today) is plenty good reason to avoid and choose safer options. The only mode worse is motorbike taxi, as ⅔ of road fatalities in Thailand are on motorbikes. The number one cause of all road fatalities? Speeding! I so hope that with education, they can change the culture with regard to safety.. and that Thai police begin to enforce speeding violations with ticketing. These van drivers are putting lives at risk every day, just to make more money and get home to honey, sooner.

Bus from Lampang to Bangkok left on time. Smooth traffic and arrived Bangkok in 30mins past estimated arrival time.
Suggest to do the toilet break announcement in English too as we don’t know how long is the break, skipped the shop and went straight to bus.

Très très bon voyage avec cette compagnie, son bus et son "steward".
Fauteuils super confortables, quasiment allongés pour dormir, très larges et... Une fonction massage !
Service de boissons et snacks tout au long du voyage (21 heures) et arrêts judicieusement prévus pour se dégourdir les jambes, pour ceux qui ne dorment pas.
Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix d'avoir pris le bus et non un autre transport.
Nous recommandons fortement, ainsi que les services de 12GO.

Wow, what a difference a big bus makes! I took a small shuttle van from Hua Hin to Bangkok just two weeks ago, and it was a nightmare. This time, I booked with 12go for Sombat Tour, returning from Bangkok to Hua Hin, AND IT WAS AWESOME! The buses are super comfortable with only 3 seats across (wide) and lots of leg room. The driver cabin is separated from the air-conditioned passenger area, so you don't need to worry about the sometimes crazy view through the front window. There was a bathroom on board, you can control the a/c and reading lights above your head, and there's USB outlets to charge your phone. As if that wasn't enough, the driver and his assistant were both super friendly and awesome. Thanks so much Sombat Tour.. and thanks again, 12go!

It's really convenience. Free water per person and the staff is really warm heart ! The Sombat Tour Hua Hin is near Bluport. Use the coordinate on your pdf to get the direction. I took Grab Car from my hotel, it only cost THB 119.

The seats were comfy for sitting, but not for sleeping. I am 178cm and didn't have enought space for my legs. The stewardess spoke exacly zero English, so the communication was impossible. It was said that there will be wi-fi, well - there wasn't, so we had to pay for really expensive phone internet to book a hotel for next day.
Take extra water, because they only give u 0,5 litres.
At least there were good earphones and some movies in English.
