Autobusu šausmīgi smirdēja pēc toletes! Tas bij neizturami. Autobusu bij ar parsešanos kur nakts vidū bija vairāk kā stundas jasēž uz ielas un jāgaida citu autobusu. Vadītāji kliedza uz cilvēkiem,ko darīt kur iet. Viss brauciens bija murgs un salīdzinoši augstā cena neatbilst šādām braucienam. Lidmašīna ir ērtāk, ātrāk un maksā gandrīz tādu pašu naudu.

Treffpunkt hat alles funktioniert. Nach ca 2 1/2h haben wir nochmal einen Stop gemacht und sind dann durchgefahren. Sitze waren ok gewesen und man konnte auch das Handy laden. Auch mit der Fähre hat alles funktioniert.

Everything timing wise was very good. Staff were helpful and informative all the way.

This is a good service for the price. The bus and ferry was on time. I will use this service again.

Der Transport hatte zu lange gedauert, so das wir nicht pünktlich an der Fähre angekommen sind.

Großer Reisebus. Wir hatten das Glück am Notausgang zu sitzen und hatten sehr viel Platz. Die Sitze lassen sich sehr gut zu Liegen umfunktionieren. Kissen und Decken waren vorhanden.

Gut organisiert! Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen wirklich gar nicht nachvollziehen. Was erwarten die Leute?

Der Bus kam 45 Minuten zu spät. Wir hatten in Cumpon dreieinhalb Stunden Aufenthalt, nachdem uns der Bus abgesetzt hatte und die Fähre abgelegt hat. Das war im Angebot zunächst so nicht erkenntlich. Tipp für Anfänger: nicht im Bus in der letzten Reihe sitzen, die Sitze lassen sich nicht umlegen. Bei unserem Zug in Hua Hin ließ sich aufgrund des Tickets nicht erkennen, welcher Bus unserer war. Man muss an jedem Bus fragen, ob er der richtige ist. Das Foto auf dem Ticket hat nichts mit dem wirklichen Bus zu tun.

Was a good trip, maybe just stopped too much for breaks

Alles sehr gut geklappt , Bus war unpünktlich, Toilette grausam, aber alles andere reibungslos!

Bus arrived before time and left at 2200 Hrs. Seats were comfortable. One stop before arrived at Surit Tani where changed to final destination. Do NOT buy a taxi voucher from Surit Tani for hotel tfr. Paid 800 baht when cost would have been 550.

Fähre kam eine halbe Stunde später an als angegeben. Der Bus war bequem durch die anderen Rezesionen war uns die Wartezeit klar, welche jedoch nicht lang war (ca eine Stunde bis man mit dem Minivan zum Hafen gebracht wurde). An jedem Stopp gab es Steckdosen an welchen man das Handy laden konnte. Einziger Minuspunkt war der nicht vorhandene Stauraum im Bus. Man musste den Rucksack in den Fußraum stellen wodurch viel Platz verloren ging.

Es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt. Klar ist es eine sehr lange und anstrengende Reise, aber der Ablauf funktioniert gut. Leider ist die Kommunikation mit den Angestellten etwas schwierig, da sie davon ausgehen, dass alle über den genauen Ablauf Bescheid wissen. Nach Austausch mit anderen Travellern weiß ich, dass sich der VIP-Bus lohnt zu buchen. Ablauf: Anmeldung - Busfahrt 10h mit drei Zusteige-Stopps, 1h Aufenthalt auf einer Raststation ( 6 a.m.), Shuttle mit Kleinbus zur Fähre (ca. 1,5h), Fähre-Überfahrt (ca. 1,5h)

The driver drove so close to the vehicle’s in front, he had to push the brake almost every 10 second. Once he had to hit the brake so hard that people woke up in big panic, and belongings went everywhere. Luckily no accidents occurred - the function of the brake-pedal turned out being useful :-/ 1. note: Now it finally makes sense why they try to add on a travel insurance, for a bus trip. 2. note: Remember to put on your seat belt. At 1 AM he stopped the bus, turned on the lights in the cabin, woke everybody up and yelled out loud that now was eating break. In the middle of the night, while everyone was a sleep. - what the f is going on. However, the bus was very comfortable and clean. The staff (and the owner himself) at the office was informative and friendly. But once the bus arrives and the operation changes from purchasing tickets and getting informations on how to check-in - everything changes. You are being yelled at - you dont get any informations - you have to hurry, to fit their time schedules. We also bought an extended ticket from Surat Thani to Khao Lak directly from the operator at their main office. The owner told me it was the same company that operated for both busses, so there was no problem. He said a van would take us on the second trip once we arrived at Surat Thani. We had a “VIP” ticked, so we expected just descent comfort and service - or maybe just not to be yelled at… We traveled with our 6 year old kid, and came directly from a shitty bus drive, with almost no sleep. The van worse “service” experience we have ever had (I’m 40 and have traveled a lot). A mad little Thai guy yelling and being super stressed was our new driver. Well, same company - “VIP” tickets - decided to believe it was just a normal human being having a bad moment. The minivan was old crap - we were stacked together inside like cattle’s. After half an hour (of crazy speeding) we stopped - again, no informations prior to this - and was ordered inside of an even older bus - now managing travelling suitcases for the third time… This bus appeared to be a normal route-bus with lots of stops and local people hopping on and off. Very tired, and very confused, we once asked if we could go out and use a toilet, as it appeared the driver had stopped the bus to take a cigarette-break. I was told “no, only 40 minutes to next stop”. So my 6-year old had to do his best, not to piss his pants for 40 more minutes. Finally after 40 minutes, the bus stopped at what appeared to be a central bus point with food court and toilets. I asked how how long time we had, and the drivers helper (yes they were 2 persons) said “we leave in 2 minutes” - so leaving travelling suitcases and everything else behind in a bus where they do not care about you, we were in a mad hurry, to find the toilet, get stuff done, and get back to the bus. And we managed it in time. Now still feeling like shit after a horrible night and morning, hungry as well, we sat in the bus for 10 more minutes, as the driver was still on a break and appeared to have a nice conversation with a lovely female colleague at the bus station. Many cigarettes consumed, a lot of laughter. - looked nice. So I went out and asked them, if they were waiting until 10:30 (we came around 10:05)as there was a sign saying 10:30 for the bus line “Suray Thani - Phuket”. Once again he said “no, leave in 2 minutes” I told him it would be nice if we could tell the passengers that everyone can have a break, not just the driver. When being confronted with this lack of service, they suddently could not speak English anymore. A couple of seconds after, it appeared that they realised the stupidity. Now they acted as if I was invisible

Hat insgesamt alles gepasst. Im "VIP-Bus" hatte man gut Platz und Wasser/Snacks bekommen. Die Toilette war nicht so nice. Der Bus fuhr bis zu einem kleinen Rastplatz bei Surat Thani. Da hab ich dann eine knappe Stunde gewartet und von da aus ging es mit einem kleineren Van weiter zum Donsak Pier und von da aus mit der Fähre nach Koh Phangan. Die Kommunikation, wann man wo wie lange warten soll, war ok.

Our least favourite bus comfort and interior wise in the 2 months we have been travelling. Not enough leg room, bus not in great condition, we did the evening bus which gets you to the port at around 3am rather than parking up and letting you sleep for a few hours at the port on the bus (considering this is our most expensive trip yet) you have to get off and lie on wooden benches at the closed port until the morning. The boat trip was super bumpy, we don’t get travel sick but had to take tablets and sit outside, everyone inside was vomiting it was like an apocalypse :’) I think next time we would get a day time bus so we don’t have to sleep on wooden benches at the port.

I felt I was shuffled about like a bit of cattle. 1st bus was a partybus, not fitted for overnight travel (not even USB charger). They stopped us at midnight for dinner at a very dodgy place. Filthy, people not welcoming, pushy for sales and overpriced. I didn't eat, too dirty and noodles looked like they had been dead for some time. Then we had to wait at Surat for next bus for1 hour in the very early hours. And That bus should go for scrap: old, dirty, rickety and A/C leaking all over us. Ferry was ok luckily, as was the last van to my place, although driver was a tad rude. NOT a journey I'recommend. Going through Chumpon with Lomphraya is a totally different experience.

It was a bit confusing at the beginning because there was a little information about the ride and how we will proceed after the ferry from koh phangan. But in the end it went pretty smooth. Someone was waiting for us at the exit of the ferry (so it is advised to wear the sticker you got to be recognised). Then with a van we went to a tour office in Surat thani. Here we could buy food and drinks and couls also charge our phone. We waited until 7pm until the large bus arrived. It seemed more like a party bus (with karaoke on board, and some fancy green and pink lights). The large bus was overall comfortable, we even got some blankets for the trip. One stop around midnight, and we reached Bangkok pretty on time.

Good Main Drive from Bangkok to suritami, but with many stops, because Driver was checking Bus engine. One good Main Stop at a Bistro at the Highway for eating. About 2-3 Pick ups and Drops of people joining. All in all good, but arrived in suritami WE lost 2 hours because they let us sit and wait in Bistro and Bus, top collect more people. Then drove arround 30 MinutesJust arround suritami top Pick Up Others and than finally changed from the van to an old Bus. After that a 60 Minutes Drive to the harbour and another 90 Minutes for ferry Transport to Koh samui

We took this trip from the Phi Phi islands to Bangkok. First we took a ferry to the mainland which was very cramped. My knees touched the seat in front of me, and I am not a large man. At the pier in Krabi, we had to ask around ourselves to find the next vehicle, which was not a bus but a van that took us to somewhere nearby. There, we wanten for another 15 minutes for another van that took us to Surat Thani. In Surat Thani, we stopped at an open shop at the corner of two streets where we were told to wait 20 minutes. 20 became 40 until a party bus arrived to take us to Bangkok. The bus was not very comfortable, with a platform where the chairs stond on. This platform didn't extend fully under the chair in the aisle seat, meaning you could not comfortably set your feet on the ground. At 12.00 we stopped for 40 minutes at some small place by the road. Finally we arrived at Bangkok about an hoor after schedule. Food and water was not included in the trip. I would recommend booking with another company if you want some more comfort. We did get from A to B though.

If you have a little bit of spare money and love for yourself, buy a trip with more comfort. The bus is way to small for someone with 196 cm length. No possibility to sleep in. The bus arrived at 0300 in the morning on the pier. You have to wait 4 hours on a small wooden bench, also verry uncomfortable to sleep. I booked this trip to get a extra day time on holiday, but was again sleeping in my hostel due to the terrible trip.

De bus was erg vies en oud. Er was vanalles kapot en was totaal niets luxe aan. Hebben kakkerlakken over de vloer zien lopen. Bus was een uur te laat. Vanuit Hua hin in ging het licht uit zodat we konden slapen. Anderhalf uur later gingen het licht weer aan voor een stop van 40 minuten. Totaal onnodig ons inziens. Vervolgens een overstap in Surathani waar het ongeorganiseerd ging en wederom drie kwartier hebben moeten wachten op de stoep.

This is Thailand and you should accept that everything can change during the trip, however you will always reach your destination 😉 VIP bus is great.

The only negative feedback was that we had to wait for 4 hours for the ferry at the pier but there was no where inside to sit and there was lots of mosquitos. We got eaten alive!

Everything was good. Just because the toilet inside the bus and there’s some smell came out…

Ride was actually 21h long, bc they work with another company for the last bit, and they won’t wait for you if your bus happen to be late.

Nachdem wir viele schlechte Bewertungen gelesen hatten, machten wir uns vorab Gedanken, ob alles klappt. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Verbindungen haben super funktioniert und alles lief einwandfrei. Die Sitze im Bus waren allerdings relativ unbequem und eine Info vorab, dass ein Stopp nachts gemacht wird, wäre hilfreich.

The bus was meant to be a VIP bus however, it was not it was small squished and the charger ports didn’t work!

It got me from A-B but it wasn't great. I had booked a slightly later bus in the evening (so I wouldn't arrive at 5 am) and showed up an hour early to check in as was indicated. As soon as I got there they started chaotically rushing everybody onto a bus which left an hour earlier than I had booked. The toilet on the bus was completely unusable for women, absolutely disgusting. And the stop for food on the way was gross and felt scammy as well. The bus stopped an hour from the destination with a burning tire. We waited for about an hour on board with no communication from any of the driver or employees, and then another bus showed up to finish the route. Like I said, it got me there, but seriously please pick a different company if you're reading this. An experience I would avoid in the future.

Have done this journey three times now with this company, the everyone in bangkok is lovely, surat thani they are not, I got a taxi to the pier and they

The bus was clean and nice. However there was no beds only reclining seats so not great if you want a comfortable night

The trip started by van, traveled 2 hours north from Krabi to a town to get on the tour bus that took us to Bangkok. This was stop one, found dinner nearby. Tour bus was nice, AC and full as expected. Bus seated could be reclined well back for sleeping. Stopped again one last time at midnight for 30 minutes at a restaurant. Driving overnight was good as traffic during the day would have made the trip much slower. Time schedule was on time.

We couldn’t take the bus from Don Sak to Suratthani, because it was overbooked… no one could really help us and they basically just left us waiting for more than an hour to catch a different bus… As we arrived in Surratthani everything went smooth. But the 2am stop at a cockroach-restaurant wasn’t needed. Make sure to grab enough cheese sandwiches before the ride :)))

Restrooms at the stop very dirty. AC extremely cold, got ill afterwards. Chaotic start and end, nobody tells you where you are and what happens next. But got from A to B.

Everything was great. Just a place to rest and eat is terrible. I would rather stop at a gas station next to 7/11 and Amazon than at a terrible roadside cafe with cockroaches.

Avoid Montanatip! The bus company has absolutely no idea about the guidance of a travel group. At every stop it was not sure what is going to happen next. Instead the operators screamed around and did not give any understandable instructions. At Sura Thani many travelers were deducted with overpriced taxi rides to their accommodations. Better book Lomprayah - even if it’s more expensive.

Bus was comfortable! Waiting times were okay... sometimes you had to wait 10-30 Minutes for your connection ride.. but that's totally okay!!

El autobús iba con un restraso de 1 hora y media, cuando por fin llegó, había más gente que plazas en el autobús. Al cambiar al Bus VIP , los asientos de atrás caía agua de algún sitio, bastante descuidado y no muy cómodo.

The operators were not very clear on which buses were for who at the start of the journey. Also the toilet onboard was extremely smelly and we had to endure this for.10 hours. Ultimately they got us to our destination on time but not before trying to sell us additional services. Definitely.wasnt the smoothest experience but reflective of the price.

Pickup was ready and waiting for us. But taking us to the big bus took very long, because the wanted to collect some other people and we had to wait 1h until all that was managed

The bus was supposed to arrive at the Khao san street, but it didn't. It stopped at the bus station 20 mintues away from khao san. We had to change the local bus.

Нас было 8 человек, покупали билеты одним чеком. Рейс ночной. Нас посадили в автобусе в индивидуальную кабину на 8ых без каких либо доплат. Доехали без проблем с комфортом, автобус двухэтажный более менее свежего года выпуска. Нас привезли к 5 утра к пункту пересадки на маршрутки и тут началось. Весь народ рассаживали по разным маршруткам, кому на Пхукет, кому на Самуй. Маршрутки по мере заполнения отправлялись. Всех рассаживали, а нам говорили ждать нашей маршрутки. В итоге когда все разьехались и мы остались одни с несколькими иностранцами, нас отвели в соседний офис с другим турагенством. «Чтобы уплыть на Самуй нужно обязательно купить обратный билет» 1500 бат с человека. Мы стали отнекиваться а женщина очень нагло стала давить «Россия Украина Война, мы против войны, нужно обязательно обратный билет потому что вы русские». И не отдавала нам наши билеты на паром, который должен быть после маршрутки. В итоге мы не заплатили, дискутировали с ней минут 20, она нас торопила, говорила опоздаем на паром, покупайте билеты. Мы кое как отделались от нее и она отдала нам наши билеты и мы помчали на комфортабельной маршрутке до парома. Успели на паром за 5 минут до отбытия. На пароме было очень много свободных мест, магазин и массаж. Поездка полностью устроила, было комфортно пережидать такое продолжительное следование, но очень сильный осадок оставила эта женщина. Не попадайтесь.

Fand am Anfang alles in Ordnung, obwohl der Bus mit einer Stunde Verspätung ankam. Haben im Bus auch Chips und Wasser bekommen. Dann fing der Fahrer aber an neben bei noch einheimische Fahrgäste einzusammeln und an unterschiedlichen Standorten rauszulassen, die definitiv nicht auf unserer Route lagen.

Firstly, ignore other reviews about montanatrip trying to rip people off, I’ll explain how it went for us. 10PM pick up, Hua Hin to Krabi bus, change over at Surat Thani to minivan. We got picked up at the pickup point on time along with 3 other couples. The pick up point in hua hin isn’t a bus stop, it’s simply coordinates where the bus will stop in between a junction at the side of a road by the clock tower, 12GoAsia booking confirmation explains it exactly as it is. Seemed a bit odd at first but the bus turned up and waited until the departure time so everyone was picked up. The buses origin was Bangkok so already had lots of people on board, you cannot select your seat in advance. Bus was very comfortable, seemed fairly new. We were in the downstairs compartment which only had 8 seats so very spacious and we’re sat together, seats reclined lots. A/C very cold so bring warm clothes, a blanket is supplied but still felt cold. Water and crisps were given to us when we sat down by bus conductor. Bus had a toilet but wasn’t that pleasant, felt to myself it’s a ‘for use in an emergency only’ kind of toilet! No flusher, typical bucket of water and pan to use to pour water down it, was a bit messy. We had a 30 minute dinner and toilet stop about 2 hours into the drive at a roadside cafe, toilets there are holes in ground, typical no tissue so bring your own. We didn’t eat as was late anyway for us but other people food looked ok. Got to the office in Surat Thani early, not a bus stop, just the montantrip office, unloaded the bus and bags and had to wait until the correct minivan arrived. Note: this point is where the bad reviews come from. Depending on the ticket you’ve purchased depends where you get dropped off, our ticket said Krabi Vichit tour, (the bus station in Krabi as per 12GoAsia ticket) When waiting in the office in Surat Thani, they offer onward travel from there to your location for a little bit extra, for example we are staying in AoNang. So they offered to take us from the Krabi bus stop to AoNang for an additional 200baht, 2 people, 25 minute drive. We denied it as we thought we’d use local transport from Krabi. It didn’t affect us at all getting on the minivan and we left the office about 30 minutes after we got off the main bus once the Krabi minivan arrived. However when the minivan got to Krabi, there wasn’t a great deal of choice of onwards travel at 8 AM so the driver offered us the onward travel again which we then accepted, same price, 100 baht per person. Took us to the beech where agreed. Everything was as described and acceptable. I would recommend it.

Worried after reading reviews, but we were picked up on time, arrived on time, offered taxi service for arrival to island, we didnt accept after reading reviews, but the lady was correct, it was 400 baht for 15 min journey to hotel, same as she offered. Bus was comfortable, ac, blanket / water, breaks for toilet / food (unsure why people bad reviews for this, its a long drive for the drivers)

The first bus was nice but 40 min late. Driver gave us water and snack. But when you were supposed to change to a van at 6am, you were tricked into a room and had to pay extra to take another van, otherwise you would have to wait 2 hours. I suppose this is another company not 12go. Then you also had to book the trip from Khao Sok to where you were going next for a overprice. Don't buy trips with the company that tricks you into a small room when you get of the bus! overpriced and rude people . Our van that we were tricked into booking also didn't come to pick us up in khao sok!

Der Bus war okay, aber etwas kalt. Der Charger am Sitz zum Handy laden hat nicht funktioniert und in Surat Thani wurde versucht, uns überteuerte Taxi-Tickets zu verkaufen. Als ich dankend ablehnte, reagierte die Frau passiv-aggressiv und herablassend. Auf Koh Samui bin ich trotz all dem gut angekommen. Insgesamt wars okay.

The people at the surat thani store tried to scam everyone with an ,express‘ ticket , they dont answer to questions, they only tried to sell their expensive tickets before they gave us the (already paid) fery tickets IN THE LAST MINUTE before the van to the fery leaved!! Eventhough the ,express ticket‘ wasn‘t even faster or better, they just had a bigger bus but thats all! But they wanted us to think that you HAVE to buy this special ticket to get to the fery, so the people panicked and bought it! Be carefull, dont buy anything from them after you leave the bus from bangkok to surat thani!!! All in all everything worked well, no complains about the other parts of the trip!

Everything went well. I have no complaints about the service and the 3 transports. All were on time.
