- Dok je putovanje željeznicom očito sporije od zračnog putovanja, željezničke stanice se često nalaze u centru grada, što Vam štedi puno vremena da stignete do/od tamo, dok su zračne luke gotovo uvijek prilično udaljene od grada
- Noćno putovanje omogućuje Vam uštedu na hotelskoj sobi i istovremeno dobro spavanje – suprotno noćnom autobusu, gdje je čak i klasa spavanja veliki kompromis

Nedostaci putovanja vlakom
- Za dulja putovanja vožnja vlakom definitivno oduzima više vremena od putovanja zrakoplovom.
- Vlakovi voze prema rasporedu, ali zakašnjenje nije neuobičajeno za putovanja vlakom – a kašnjenja mogu biti ogromna, pa ako planirate vezu s Vašim letom, pažljivo provjerite vrijeme kada Vaš vlak stiže na stanicu i dvaput razmislite.
- Čistoća je ponekad problem s kartama za drugi i treći razred, a također i s WC-om.
- Ako vaš vlak puno staje, u nekim je slučajevima teško shvatiti kada treba sići, jer stajališta nisu uvijek jasno najavljena ili označena, osim na elektroničkom ekranu.

The overall experience was good. Initially when my tic for one person in group was booked later the revert time was very late n hence I had to cancel n rebook so had a loss of money but later the team sorted it n we travelled as one group. The tickets n service was provided in time.

The train is old and loud, bring earplugs and an eye mask, if you go in a warm jacket and pants you won't be cold, bring food with you at night.
The boat is very fast, but the seats are uncomfortable, bring a hat and sunscreen.

For the price, it is a very good service, everyone is very helpful but the train ride is very uncomfortable. The train provided the blanket but an eye patch, noise cancelling earphones and a pillow is a must if you are planning to sleep well.

The information mail with ticket is a little confusing about what to do on the terminal station. The 2nd floor was closed. It would be sufficient to just write that you should look for the gate number based on the given train number.
There is no announcement in the train, so use an alarm clock and watch you location on gps maps.

The service is very convenient. I don't know of any other way to obtain a train booking. It would be great if we could have chosen a bottom berths, but we got 2 top bunks instead. Other than that all went very smooth.

Despite my misgiving it worked well. My train ticket never arrived until within 24 hours of the journey which caused me anxiety. However the journey itself worked well even though the train was over an hour late arriving in Surat Thani. A good way of getting from Bangkok to Samui

I booked the VIP service from Khao Sok to Bangkok. It was fairly pricy compared to flights (41€) but I wasn’t able to fly and wanted the possibility to recline my seat. The van picked me up 10min early and drove to Surat Thani. The bus arrived on time in northern Bangkok. It wasn’t the most modern bus but you got some snacks on board and I was able to get some sleep. Would recommend to wear long pants/ hoodie as it was fairly cold. Also the bathroom wasn’t clean but that is to be somewhat expected.

Everything went perfectly :) The ferry arrived on time and in Surat Thani right on schedule. The meeting point at the Surat Thani pier for the onward transfer was easy to find, and the transfer from the pier to the train station went smoothly. The night train from Surat Thani to Bangkok also went perfectly; the train was on time and very clean.

On my voucher iut said no need to have tickets. JUst scan the QR code when you check in.
When we got to the train station they asked for the tickets. We arrived with plenty of time 50 minutes before the train left. We did not have any the voucher. It took a long and stressful time to get the tickets, whihc we finally got 5 minutes before the train left. We have another trip with you to Langkawi on 5 Decemmber please send the tickwets to us well before we travel.

Took ferry, shuttle and sleeper train Koh Pha Gnan to Bangkok. Seamless and relaxing journey. Instructions and tickets provided night before. Shuttle was on time and comfortable. Train was mellow and relaxing. Impressed.

The Experience with Van2Travel (the driver) was really great. The nighttrain has a not so great standard but still was an interesting experience and good chance to travel and to sleep. The Description for the jouney was good, for the train station it could be a bit more detailed.

The night train hasn"t changed much in 15 years, but it's a fun, though rather sleepless experience. Train was quite delayed but pick-up and transfer to pier was perfectly organized. Taking the car ferry was a great choice: very calm, quiet and comfortable transfer.

We booked at the last minute in order not to have to worry about the connections between the train, the taxi and the ferry and it worked well. The communication through WhatsApp with Van2Go was excellent and really helped us get there with tips and advice so that our journey was good.
