The bus was pretty straight forward except from at the Vietnam border which was a nightmare, this was no fault of the driver or tour guide as it was a Cambodian public holiday so this took more than expected to get through. The reason I give 4 is because the driver failed to inform the group of what was going on throughout the process at the border, we were just left to stand around, we had to approach him on multiple occasions and all he could state is that it was a public holiday and it will take longer. All in all though the bus ride itself was great and there was just the right amount of stops.

The ride was pleasant and uneventful. We had some issues with our guide not accepting our currency because it was “too old” or had a very small tear in it, but she worked with us to find an atm before the boarder to get new bills. We also ended up overpaying because we didn’t have exact change and she didn’t give our change back to us.

Well organized. Arrival was 2 hours late, don’t know if this was due to longer than usual holdup at the border, I suspect so. Driver took some chances that should not have been taken. Guess that is the norm in this part of the world, still shouldn’t happen with a bus full of people though.

Departure on Time. Classic Seat but confortable enough. Air con ok. Staff helpfull. Only 30 mn late at arrival so it is more than acceptable if you consider the multiples stops and random events (lunch, viet border, combodia border, traffic jam...). However, the driver drove like crazy, overtaking everthing.

Overall it was still great, friendlt staff etc. Only thing is the restaurant staff after the border were very unfriendly. Having travelled with Giant Ibis a day after this trip it reflects very poorly on SinhTourist. It should be made more obvious that wed’d be fobbed off with another operator on an old and uncomfortable bus with poorly trained staff (no communication during border crossing whatsoever), and how hard is it to list an accurate destination arrival time?). “It’s asia” doesn’t cut it anymore. SinhTourist and Long Phuong need to up their game. 12Go should update this trip to include details/photos of the actual bus company used (Long Phuong Cambodia), we should at least get an accurate description for the premium of booking through the site.

We paid for a VIP sleeper, but instead got a regular seated bus. When we asked the conductor about this he said their company didn't do sleeper buses at all. Very confused and disappointed as to why this option was listed on the website at all. The bus staff had very little English, which made the border crossing confusing and frustrating.

After booking on the luxury sleeper bus that was in the description I felt a little better about the journey. However, the bus was small, without reclining seats or a toilet. Absolutely not as described. You expect a little deviation from the pictures but Kumho Samco even said they don’t have any sleeper buses. Not sure where the problem lies but I was not happy with the experience.

Driver didn’t tell us anything about the departure from Vietnam and visa for Cambodia. Just took our passport and didn’t say anything to us. I’d appreciate a little more info on my most important item while traveling

Although the bus was a little worn out, most hand handles and bottle holders are broken, it was still relatively clean and comfortable. The bus ride was smooth and okay except when we arrived in the capital where the driver would go bumper to bumper with smaller cars, motorcycles and tuktuk causing excessive sudden breaks. The disappointing and aggravating part was when we were being charged a dollar or 250,000 dong (which is totally not a dollar in real time convertion) by the guide for the arrival and departure card that they "bought" from the police (which we primarily promised we would pay later) when we don't need a visa as an ASEAN resident (Philippine passport holder). Good thing we heard the conversation between a fellow Filipino and the guide that they need a receipt for that card in return for paying the fee which the guide couldn't prepare, they told us it was THE Vietnam-Cambodia border scam which we almost fell for and that you can just ask for the form from an immigration officer for free. I don't know if the other nationalities with visa-on-arrival got also ripped off by an additional fee for visa processing. I will not ride with them just for that reason.

One of our seats were broken which destroyed alot of the experience. Other than that, the bordercontroll from vietnam to cambodia went very smooth and its a plus that we got a little snack :)

It was nice! Great service! Only the bus could have been a bit more modern - the seats were very hard and it had an ancient air conditioning system, that did not help a lot during the hottest hours of the day. We had a delay of 1 1/2 hours, although there were no traffic jams or problems on our route. I don't quite get that? The pre-ordered tuk-tuk of my hotel waited for me all this time!

We left and arrived on time. Our helper on the bus was very friendly and she handles our visa process very quick and easy! I have heard mixed comments about taking the bus but it wasn’t bad at all. We didn’t get food but we got free bottled water and had a stop for lunch on the way.

Stewart was really good and helpful. Bus is old and dirty. Not comfortable, air con not really functional, it took 8 hours to get to Phnom Penh. My suggestion is that they make a stop at the Phnom Penh city centre before the final stop.Buses are going through there anyway and you don't have to deal with traffic twice

The coach had plenty of leg room. Was provided with a snack and some water which was a nice touch. Journey itself was comfortable although I would advise having your 35 dollars ready at checkin to make the initial part stress free (for your visa into Cambodia)
