Lits confortables, mais le contrôleur ouvre la porte vite sans cogner à plusieurs reprises

Train left and arrived on time. The loud music in the train while boarding before departure from Hanoi was really aggressive and unwelcoming. Bed a bit hard, but could do with it. The door lock was not really functional, which was annoying when trying to open it from outside. Toilets were... train toilets, but that could be worse. Overall a not-so-bad experience.

The 1st class sleeper was much better than I expected. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were pretty comfortable and everything worked, including the door lock and chargers. I actually slept pretty well considering we were moving around a bit. The bathrooms were fairly clean and had toilet paper. I went in the bathroom in another coach and it wasn’t nearly as nice. We only saw one cockroach and it was when we were leaving so it didn’t bother us much. I don’t know if a food cart came around, we went to sleep early, but we brought food so we were good. Also we were looking at the map to know when we were close to our stop, I didn’t hear anyone announce it. We were 15 minuets early to our stop. I didn’t talk to any employees on the train, but people at the station were helpful and directed us to where to go. Overall a good experience.

Unfortunately when booking our beds it was not clear which were top, middle and bottom bunks and so we took a gamble which sadly did not pay off. We ended up on the top bunks, wedged so close to the ceiling you couldn’t even sit up half way. I am only 5ft 2 and slim build and struggled to get up and down as there is only foot holds, no ladder. The price was the same for whichever bunk which seems completely unreasonable given that the top bunk has half the space of the others. I wouldn’t recommend a 6-birth cabin as you really are crammed in like sardines. The soft seating looked far more spacious and comfortable, not to mention much cheaper! This is what I’d do if I were to travel this way again or at least a 4-birth cabin. The pictures look deceivingly bigger and nicer than they are!

Pretty nice cabins. Bathrooms are basic and not the cleanest. I also appreciated the water bottles and snacks in the cabin!

The bus is quite “snug” and we brought sleeping bag liners which I highly recommend and a pillow. (And if you can be smaller than 5’8” that would be a bonus too

Beds were clean and the train was on time. However, i was forced to leave my booked bed on the bottom level for a less comfy one in the middle by the people working in the train (who don't really speak English). Furthermore the AC wasn't strong enough to cool down the room, which forced us to leave the door to the corridor open to gain air circulation in exchange for much noise

The Noise from the broken (stuck open) doors between carriages was annoying. Beds were comfy on this service, but l needed my own blanket as the 1 sheet provided was not enough for the cold aircon

I found 12go very easy to use & tickets came quickly. We found our platform without any problems. Looked at a few carriages & found what we thought were the 1st class sleepers. However we were directed to carriage 11 (this was also on our paperwork). The cabin was clean & we had plenty of room for our luggage. As we got settled into our beds & train started moving we realized it was going to be a long night. Mattresses are pretty thin! When I went to use the bathroom an old Vietnamese man was sat in the corridor on a beach chair smoking ???? which filled the entire cabin! So I’m struggling to see how this was 1st class? Staff spoke very little English Which I can deal with but they seemed no where to be found when we needed them. There seemed to be a lot of confusion on if in fact passengers had the correct seats/beds & very little assistant offered!

The train was loud (both from people and from the train itself - doors, tracks, etc) but the beds were comfortable enough. It started out cold and then warmed up. The train originates in Hanoi where we got on, yet someone had obviously already been sleeping in one of our berths. Not sure how that happens and it was vacant when we boarded the train 35 minutes prior to departure.

Overnight ride on SE19. Not as bad as expected according to the previous comments. Toilets were not very clean but not too bad either,...however train was only partially full. We had no trouble with exceptional noise levels or blaring music. The food was not overpriced and certainly the breakfast ban my was delicious, and delivered on time. Dinner choices were few. Beds on this first class sleeper were firm to hard, as usual, clean linen. Overall good value for money.

This was supposed to be first class, but other compartments looked better and newer. Next tot that, with a family of four, we did not have our own compartment, since nobody wanted to move from a lower bed to a higher bed (only one lower bed left when I booked). I slept fine in a high bed.

The entire bogie was quite old and didn't have any charging point in my compartment. The bogie made quite too much of noise when the train was moving. It felt as if the nuts and bolts were almost coming off. You may want to improve these things.
