There were some people seated in our seats. The staff wasn't friendly at all. The bus was dirty and the seats were broke. I would not recommend this company. The only positive thing is the bus wasn't late and we left at 13:35 instead of 13:48.

i dont recommend train from da nang to hue if you are particular on your comfort...views are fantastic though, but afterwards that’s only it... vietnamese are too noisy, and mostly are rude on you... better rent a motorcycle, its always the best.. for few minutes waiting inside the train to depart, there was no aircon or fan at all... you can smell local sweats in all kinds... and it was pretty congested... they will switch on the aircon only right before the train moves slowwly.. the train is slower than normal or ordinary trains in other countries.. take note.. i regret taking a train.. really.. anyways, 12go service os great.. i was satisfied, its just the ride i didn’t enjoy...

The train was hot and was delayed, and we had to wait inside the train for around 40 minutes with no AC before the train departed. View was beautiful, but windows were tinted so it was hard to see Hai Van Pass.

One could not understanding the English language of the speaker at Da Nang railway station. Luckely some locals helped us so we didn’t take the train to Ho Chi Ming City. Although a 45 minute delay the trip to Hue was fine and went smooth. The train was not clean but the chairs are comfortabel for a 3 hours journey.

We where in a 1st class cabin with beds. The beds where hard even though they are apparently 'soft'. The toilets were disgusting. They smelt, they were too small to even sit. The train was old. The carriage had rubbish in and the beds were all messy from where previous people where in there. People were also smoking on the train. It's okay for a short journey but would not recommend for a long journey. On the plus side the view was nice from Da Nang - Hue.

Train left and arrived pretty much on time. We travelled in Class 2 Aircon. Seats are comfortable enough with good leg room. Very limited space for luggage which has to travel in the carriage so a lot of stuff in the aisles. Fairly surly staff. Only use the toilets as a last resort. Aircon is marginal. Train is pretty dirty, but its cheap and got us there. Lovely views on the right hand side up the coast.

The scenery aling the train path is amazing, 5 stars! The train left and arrived more or less on time, no schedule issues. The seats are comfortable and recline quite a lot. The AC works and there are washrooms in each car. The train is dirty, scruffy and generally unpleasant. My advise is try 1st class if you can get it (we only managed to get 2nd class w/AC). Despite the state of our carriage, it was not a problem at all for a coue of hours long trip. Would not hesitate to take this train again!

Set off from Da Nang on time at 18:55.... half an hour late on arrival at Hue. Clean but dated carriages and seating. A few electric sockets but not enough. Vietnamese snacks offered on trolley service. 2nd class seating carriage was full. We booked online a month before travelling and the earlier timed train was already fully booked by then in this class so more carriages seem to be needed. Online booking process very easy. Cheap way to travel short distances in Vietnam but the airlines aren't exactly overpriced either for anything longer than this trip.

Took 6.41 am SE22 Da Nang to Hue. 3 of us booked together 1st class sleeper tickets and we're placed in same cabin (coach 9, bunks 1-3) and luckily no one in 4th bunk so at least had privacy. Train was on time to depart and arrive but unfortunately no bedding change between arrival and departure so we had to clear beds if rubbish ourselves, someone brought a new sheet round but just chucked it at us and went. Extremely dirty/opaque and non-opening window so forget being able to see the coastal view in any great detail. Also next to stinking toilets area (think festival toilet smell). Air con but for a large proportion of journey just delivered someone's cigarette smoke to us. Ok for a short journey but this wouldn't encourage me to take an overnighter.

We had a wonderful experience overall in a first class sleeper train car. The beds were comfortable and there was enough space. The scenery (even though it was raining) was beautiful. The only thing was the direction of where to go while waiting to board from the Danang Terminal...but this may have been because of renovations. Booking on 12Go Asia was fast and simple, though there were a few times where trips were available, but then when we tried to check-out and pay it said our trip was no longer available to purchase. Not sure why that happened, but we were able to finally find a trip to our destination.
12Go réponse:
Dear Michelle Veli Nath, Thank you for your comment and your rating! You were not able to purchase those trips because they were not actually available when we did the final check with the Railway. We know this is far from an ideal process and are hoping to have it fixed soon. We hope you enjoy your travel and look forward to seeing you in the future! On SE2 Danang to Hue. I'm Asian, maybe it was a reason for the irate station official to shout in my face when I didn't know where to go, three different times. When a simple hand gesture to tell us to go through the doors and turn left would have sufficed. Also, in first class sleeper coach, very little ventilation, and I was told off for opening window, train staff prohibited even opening a little slit for air. Otherwise space was fine, it was clean, it was on time, toilet was fine.
