Maria PAlthough they gave us a private cabin, the experience was awful. First of all, we had to collect our train tickets in a random house in the middle of town, not even close to the train station. Then, the train was really hot, really noisy, and it felt like the train was going to derail all the time. Toilet was dirty and it smelled really bad. It’ll have been okay if the price was cheap enough but it costed almost half a plane ticket. Not recommended at all.

Guillermo REl principal problema es que cuando me recogierom en el hostel, la furgoneta era la equivocada, y aunque les pregunte si iba a Bagan, los conductores que no hablaban nada de ingles afirmaron sonrientes pese a que no entendieron nada. Más tarde, ya saliendo de la ciudad se percataron de que no era normal que fuese a la ciudad a la que iba y me preguntaron de nuevo. Tuvieron que volver y hacerme cambiar de minivan. Despues, ademas de los billetes regulares llenan en pasillo con gente de Myanmar que viaja a ciudades previas y que abandonan antes la minivan. Por esto, no habia precisamente espacio. Es cierto que llegaron en hora, y que para ir hasta Bagan cumplio su funcion, pero nada que ver con el confort de JJ express por ejemplo. Yo lo cogeria de nuevo, solo que esta vez iria mentalizado y asegurandome mucho de que la minivan es la correcta.

Beatrice HThey'll pick you up at your hotel and then pick up the other passengers , which can take 1:30 hrs. There is no space in the van's aisle as all the suitcases and luggage are located there. If you are taller than 1.70 mt expect an uncomfortable trip due to the seats. However, the price is okay and the staff really helpful. They give you water and there's a stop where you go to the toilets and stretch your legs.

We were put in Cabin D with another couple from Belgium, so it wasn't a lonely night.
As I have done my research, I knew I had to bring longyi to cover myself. The operation did give pillow and sheet, but it's very random, some bed have, and some beds don't.
Make sure to download an off-line map to know whereabouts I am, as the announcement was in Burmese.
It was an experience that is enough, just for once. Won't do it again. I use my own scarf to cover. BTW Cabin F is more private as there are only 2 beds.

Miguel ANos buscó en horario y llegó en horario.
Antes de salir de la ciudad se detuvo a cambiar una cubierta. Esta tarea la hubiera tenido que realizar con anterioridad a la búsqueda de los pasajeros.
Los pasajeros que se agregan en distintas paradas y van sentados en banquitos en el pasillo resultan una incomodidad para todos.
No es recomendable para viajeros que llevan mucho equipaje.
Que te recojan en el hotel es un valor adicional.
Lo volveríamos a contratar.

The train station is difficult in navigation, no English instructions, no English speaking employees. I had to catch people outside to help me find train. The train itself is also stinky, dirty and cold. But at least it departures and arrives on time

Akiko TService of 12GO was perfect, with my ticket delivered to the hotel in the morning of departure.
The train left Mandalay Central 9:00p.m. sharp, and arrived in Bagan only 15-20 mins. behind the schedule.
The floor under my seat was very dirty with lots of egg shells, however, all other places looked clean enough.
As the train sways a lot, you feel as if you were on boat. So, if you get motion sickness easily, I recommend that you should not take train.
The seat was big enough and comfortable to sleep in, but the window next to my seat was broken, and I couldn't close it. Freeeezing!!!
