Barato & Bueno no será Rápido. (p.ej. trenes VIP en Tailandia)
Rápido & Bueno no será Barato.

It is the best service we have received in Vietnam (We have been in Vietnam for two months). The workers are friendly. They have free water and cookies service. They have also provided us with a lot of relevant information during the trip. It should be noted that in other companies they treat you with insults and shouting. They treat your luggage badly (kicking and throwing it in bad ways). And they may even try to hit you (it has happened to us). 90% of Vietnamese are racists and try to rip you off at all times (be very careful). On the other hand, this transport company is another story, we have felt at home. Thank you very much for having decent service.

The van used to be luxury at some point, now it is more like a second hand used car with stained carpet, holes in the panel boards, faulty seats and inconsistent source of power. The driver was accompanied by two of his friends, all teenagers. They were laughing, talking and playing music very loudly not letting us sleep. They were driving very irresponsibly, above the speed limit, overpassing every car they had in front, driving in the middle of the road... It was very dangerous and we had to ask them several times to slow down. This made the van jump a lot which also made it impossible to sleep or have a relaxed journey. Overall I will never book with them again.

The staff was very kind. My comment is that the last part of the trip to Sapa, the driver took sometimes too much risk in overtaking slow moving vehicles, especially just before curves/ bends in the route.

We were waiting in the indicated point till 06:25. No bus appeared. Then a van parked in front of us and a guy told us to come with them after asking for our voucher. We told him that we had booked a bus but he said no matter. When I asked if we had to pay some more the told me to pay to the driver. Only after we said we won't be paying anything else as we had already purchased tickets the driver agreed. We travelled in the last seats, almost no space for the legs, no room for our luggage. Contacted to the phone number in the voucher when we already were in the van and a man told us to wait for someone to pick us....so I don't really know who the man of the van was, but pretty sure organization was terrible.

The train was on time, clean and the bedding was clean comfortable. The bunk was rock hard but it’s not a hotel so you can’t expect super comfort. We slept pretty well. Ticket exchange and boarding was pretty smooth once we asked a couple of officials for directions. The interior of the railway car was quite old but we were provided with complementary water, biscuits, fruit and soft drinks. We booked the private compartment for 2 and although expensive it was worth it for the privacy and space for our luggage

A little confusing at the station (note: 'Gate 6' as printed on voucher just means 'Platform 6' for example). We were approached by a Livitrans staff member in waiting area to show voucher and receive tickets as there is no desk or counter to do this. Once aboard, everything was fantastic. Cabin included water & fruit. Bedding was clean. A service trolley came around selling drinks & snacks shortly after departure and we were able to preorder coffee for the morning, half an hour before arrival.

Room was good. We booked a private room for 2. The top bunks were folded up. The lamp was broken. The mattresses were super firm but at least we had electrical outlets. The facilities were good for what it was. This was so much better than Oriental Express. We booked a private room with OE. OE had not electrical outlets and the bunks where bolted down so we couldnt fold them up.

Great night bus. Picked us up from our hostel and the journey was very smooth, it was also nice that they provided blankets. We arrived on time around 4am and were allowed to sleep on the bus until 6:30 before having to get off.

No elevator, very hard with heavy bags. I slept comfortably, even though the "soft" bed was really really hard, the train's rocking motion, I think. Worse part was the bathroom, ewww, stinky! Beware of people, even those in uniform, they sold me a bus ticket for 45,000 vnd, but lead me to a grey van. They told us Sapa tour was part of it, then later said not. Go out of the station & book the large buses on your own

This is for pumpkin train - The train beds are comfortable and toilet was fairly clean. Just the unstable wooden noise from the dividers when the train moves. We also had a bad experience when boarding the train as we do not have the tickets (we pre booked and only have the voucher which we tot is sufficient) and are confused with which platform and train to board. There was a guy approaching us offering help to find us the train. And when he got us the tickets he brought us to the cabin and he immediately asked us for tips, indicated how much he wants which was very intimidating. He wouldn't leave until you give him the amount he wants. Just be careful when you board the train and get your tickets.

The limo van had more features than comfort. Was 1 hour late to pick us up and maybe that is the reason we didn’t get a bathroom stop in the 5 hours ride. 2 girls threw up and the driver didn’t stop. When we got to Sapa the driver was extremely helpful finding our out of the way hotel.
