The onboarding was smoother than other fast oats, and they starting loading large luggage items around half an hour before the boat set off meaning we could depart on time.
The boat itself felt slightly more cramped then other operators but overall the journey was smooth and the service was great.

Es hat alles super geklappt. Ich hatte die schlimmsten Vorstellungen, aber es lief alles gut und war sehr organisiert. Die Koffer wurden gut verladen und sind trocken angekommen. Die Fahrt lief auch reibungslos. Es war etwas Wellengang, aber das war völlig ok. Ich kann diese Fähre empfehlen.

A great service from Sanur to Nusa Penida. Left a little bit late but that was because of late customers. Smooth ride, comfortable boat although a bit warm if not by a window due to no AC. The men are so good at handling all the heavy luggage!

Tour startest 30 minutes later and took 50 minutes instead of 30 minutes like on the voucher. El Rey company made a good job regarding all other aspects.

From the check-in with the voucher to the boarding and trip everything was great. Now the boat docks in a jetty and you don’t have to go in the water to board. You can wait in the shadow in the head office and they will escort you to the harbour. The boat is pretty new.

We booked El rey fast boat. The check in process is smooth and it was easy to reach their office. Boarding and departure was 20 mins late. That’s the norm I think with all boats. The boat itself was fine, and we reached Nusa Penida comfortably. Keep in mind that no matter what 12Go says, NO boat has aircon. It’s not a problem in the morning since you’re fresh and it’s breezy. But coming back all sweaty and tired, before the boat departs it feels icky. The staff is helpful and speaks good English. We departed Nusa Penida at 5pm sharp as mentioned on the ticket. No delays there. Overall satisfied with the journey.

We reached at the Sanur harbour 1 hour before, then we found that our El Ray boat was not scheduled to go, instead they managed another boat company, named axestone. The boat is almost the same, but started 30mins earlier, which created a bit of panic situation for us.

Overall Experience was below average.
Book it as a last resort if you are not getting ticket with other operators.
Seating was too congested. Other operators have 3 seats on one side, El Rey boats had 4. It was very uncomfortable to sit.
Plus other operators send a reminder message a day before along with location of their office where we have to report. There was absolutely zero communication El Rey team.
Not satisfied with their service.

Need to exchange the online ticket in their office for a "printed" ticket.
The boat was completely crammed, tiny seats, closed windows, no air.
The ride was bumpy even though the sea was quiet
