Cambodia VISA information
Giant Ibis charges a 5 USD fee for batch visa processing at the border. If you do not have a visa you need to pay 35 + 5 = 40 USD for a tourist visa and 40 + 5 = 45 USD for a business visa. If you already have a valid visa in your passport there is no such fee. The facilitated batch processing guarantees a smooth border crossing. Taking Giant Ibis on a cross-border you do not have the option to go yourself through immigration, as it would disrupt the VIP process.
Vietnam VISA information
Vietnam does not offer a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for land border crossings. You must have already arranged for a Vietnamese entry visa should you require one or you will not be allowed to board the bus.
The border crossings are Bavet on the Cambodian side and Moc Bai on the Vietnamese
The bus departs from the Giant Ibis ticket office on Street 106 next to the night market, close to the riverside.
Arrival in Siem Reap
The bus will drop you off in downtown Siem Reap at the Giant Ibis bus terminal just north of the Sokha Angkor Resort and directly behind the Angkor National Museum. Once you’ve received your baggage there will be plenty of tuk tuk’s waiting to take you to your next destination.
- On board services: AirCon, Wi-Fi, snacks, 12v chargers, comfortable seats.
- Passenger insurance is included.
Cancelation policy: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:
Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)
Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.
Dear Falke Martinus Mandar,
Thank you for your comment and your rating!
I am surprised to hear that these were selling for $13 each at the ticket counter. Giant Ibis very strictly controls the prices we are able to charge and we must sell these tickets for $15 + $1 payment processing fee, exactly what they charge on their own site.
