- Bus will stop in the middle of route for passengers to have a free meal.
- Ferry tickets to Koh Phangan and Koh Samui are not included.
- If you are traveling to Koh Samui, you have to buy ferry tickets at the pier by yourself, ferry to Koh Samui costs 150THB.
- If you are traveling to Koh Phangan, you have to buy ferry tickets at the pier by yourself, ferry to Koh Phangan costs 220THB.

Dear Adam, That's serious. How much was there? We will report immediately to company management. This is first time in our experience that something was stolen in a legal bus company. That happens a lot on Kao san, but with Lignite? We will investigate and respond accordingly (will notify you on the outcome). Thank you very much for the signal. Could you please let us know if the delay was caused by late departure, heavy traffic, technical issues on the way or simply because the driver stopped so often? Would you recommend that we overwrite the arrival time given from the operator? We are connected to over 130 operators in Thailand and have to trust the info they provide to us.
For 'express' buses it happens that the bus has to stop on the way, especially on Fridays. The Government forces the bus operators to pick up passengers along the way. This problem will not occur on a VIP bus, we were told.

The smell coming from the WC was most probably caused by other passengers. This happens. We are sorry for that experience and hope to see you again.

Thailand's bus terminals are indeed impressive. We do have over 130 different operators with more than 1300 stations in our system. We try to make it as easy as possible to show a picture of the counter and its number on the PDF.

Sometimes the bus operator will have to change seats, for example if a monk is traveling (who can not sit next to a woman). Toilets in buses smell bad if the passengers don't use or clean it properly. In Thailand you have to expect that spicy food is served, especially if it is free of charge. If pillows / blankets are provided depends on the bus operator. We are sorry to hear that there was a technical problem on your trip.
Thanks for your comment, Doris. Unfortunately in Thailand's buses, planes, cinemas and even the skytrain the air-con is often set very cold. Some local movies do not come with English subtitles in Thailand.
