Tickets for VIP Sleeper must be purchased for the whole cabin (2) and the 4 berths in the VIP Sleeper 4x cabins may be purchased individually. On the Hanoi to Lao Cai route Livitrans, King, Pumpkin and Orient Express have equal reputations for their service and identical prices so if your berth on Livitrans is unavailable we will switch you at no charge to one of them. For all other routes, Livitrans and Violette Express have equal reputations for service and identical prices so if your berth on Livitrans is unavailable we will switch you at no charge to Violette. Please be at the station 1 hour before departure and follow directions above.

We understand your frustrations and concerns regarding this service. Please accept our sincere apologies for this less satisfying experience you had with the operator. You may rest assured knowing that we will pass these concerns and issues on to the management of the operator. We are hopeful that the matter will be investigated and improvements implemented.
All photos used are the official materials provided by the railway and these are what all agencies must use to advertise the services. Children under 6 can travel for free if they share a berth with the parents. We do note this in the information section for this trip but sadly we cannot enforce the age limit. All trains are supposed to be non-smoking but this is also something out of our control since we just sell the tickets and do not operate the train.
