At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

Reckless driver appeared tired unwell....noticed similar hazardous drivers in larger buses. Overtaking in face of oncoming traffic and on blind corners...felt very unsafe.

It was a slow start but then again you shouldn’t be expecting services here to be prompt. We picked up everyone from there hotels and each time the drive climbed up on top of the van to load the luggage and tied down. Once on the road, the drive move fast. The roads aren’t the best but they work. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery or nap.

The problem is GoAsia. They sell a trip that does not exist. It said Naga travel leaving 9am. But there is no Naga 9am trip from vientiane, only the 9.30 Soutchai one. This one left only after 10am. Trip itself fine.

The mini bus was comfortable and the driver very experienced. There was a rest break in the middle. The journey took 4.5 hours. The road is shocking in parts but overall a good journey. The bus did not depart until 10am.

The bus trip ride was fine. Found the office on the departure morning and walked in to check about how to get our luggage to the departure point, their office. They said they would pick us up at the hotel. We ended up leaving 1.5 hours late because they didn’t tell me all we had to do was find a way to get our luggage to their office 3 blocks from our hotel and we could leave on time. Instead we waited for their shuttle serve then on the bus to fill up.

The bus left a little late and the trip took longer than posted, but overall as avertised. Though, too many passangers were booked so some sat on plastic chairs in the isle.

Good bus and good ride. Howewer this company should not be allowed to state a 3h duration online (totally unrealistic for this journey) as it takes 4.5h (which is absolutely fine), especially as they advertise it differently in their shop... 12.go should also monitor unrealistic timings advertised on its portal...

Terrible roads. It took 5 hours, not the 3 hours 'advertised'. Bus was full (some paying passengers were turned away). Seats are hard but the bus is not old and the driver was good (not too fast etc).

Bus left 1 hour late. The time they publish is just the time they start picking people from hotels. It was a 4 hour trip. The bus was ok but the driving was awful. Driving fast on bad roads full of potholes even speaking on the phone while driving on dangerous roads with 40 people on board. Extremely irresponsible. On top of all this, the price charged by 12goasia is more than double what you pay for the same bus.

The bus trip was good, decent bus with air conditioning and leg space etc. But we had to wait like 75 minutes in Vientiane before departure, and our tickets (bought from 12go.asia) was twice as expensive as the price listed at the travel agency where the bus left. All in all an alright bus trip, but factor in some extra time (even though it's only 110km and estimated 4 hours)
