Passenger reviews out of total 234 passengers who traveled with us on this route.

At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

ferry Catamaran, Boonsiri High Speed Ferries
★★★☆☆
Got us where we wanted to go, BUT: 1. Very poor communication left us lost and frustrated for over an hour in extreme heat. Leaving Koh Chang to board the public ferry, there is no company rep on site. Local ferry staff eventually told us what to do, but like many rural operators, assume that travelers should already know what they know. We were looking for a catamaran, but there is none, at any point in this journey. 2. There is NO HIGH SPEED FERRY involved, despite all indications from adverts to booking to confirmation. We had no way to know, since we arrived on Koh Chang by private taxi and had only a one-way ticket to return to Pattaya. 3. Once we figured it out, we had to change vehicles 4 times, before arriving in Pattaya. While we were very happy to travel most of the way in a large bus, we had to keep hauling our luggage from the ferry, to a beat up old minivan, to the bus and then to another minivan. That’s because the big bus goes to Bangkok, and Pattaya is just a detour for some of the passengers. 4. We were threatened with physical harm by the manager of Ar-Arh Coffee Shop, at a rest stop along the way, in Chanthaburi. He literally followed me onto the bus, to challenge me to a fight, after expressing dissatisfaction with over-priced food and terrible service. The guy is dangerous.

Terrible start as wasn’t picked up, even though I had been waiting outside in the sun for over an hour and gave my room up early. I spoke to the lady from 12go.asia and she was very helpful, organising another pick up at a later time and giving me a partial refund. The 2 journeys couldn’t have been any different. Trip back was so much more better and driver very good.

If you can accept the fact that taxi and van drivers are often grumpy, the service was okay. I want to be more generous, but cannot, however, for two reasons: 1. When you book a trip from Pattaya to Ko Chang or back, they will invariably call to let you know that they will pick you up one hour earlier, and insist that you be outside waiting for them, 30 minutes before the new, earlier time for pick-up. 2.) Our driver was impolite and grumpy, and made us feel as if we were there to serve him. Perhaps he just works too many hours, like many Thai workers, and is underpaid? I should add one key point: I felt safe the entire time. Van drivers are often criticized for going too fast and causing accidents and injuries. Our driver went fast when he could, but never took unnecessary risks. Thanks for being here to serve traveler needs.

Transfer quick and as described. Only negative was that I received a text saying I'd been sent an email about the transfer yet did not receive anything but my hotel phoned the operator who confirmed the time and they did sent an email on the morning of my travel so no issue.

Driver on time but drove way too fast weaving through lanes of traffic. Got to Pattaya 90 minutes ahead of schedule but he had no idea where the hotels were so ended up arriving late. Overall Go12 was very good
