Floods close Sakhon Nakhon Airport in east Thailand

The director of Thailand’s National Department of Airports says that due to flooding Sakhon Nakhon Airport will remain closed until midnight tonight. Flooding, triggered by seasonal monsoon rains, led to the closure of the Esarn region airport early on Friday morning.
