The governor of a Cambodian province on the Thai border has dispatched a letter to his opposite number urging action on a new border crossing. In the letter, Banteay Meanchey governor Suon Bovor says the two provincial authorities need to meet and work out an agenda.
Representatives from Thailand and Cambodian signed an agreement last Friday that will see the inauguration of a new border crossing. The location of the new checkpoint will be Stung Bot.
