Absolutely rammed into a minibus with bags on between everyone’s legs and on top of everyone. Minimal aircon so everyone was sweating the whole journey. The driver was very nice and helpful though and we left and got there on time!

Offices to catch bus easy to find staff helpful and toilet availabke Bus 25 minutes late but made up time as drove very fast in the rain.shame doesn't drop on main street in khao sok to save you being surrounded by people trying to get you into taxis but can walk to most accomidation within 20 minutes

The service at the office was very nice. The problem was when we were about to arrive at the destination. The driver stopped about 6km before the actual stop and told us that that was the final stop, but that for 50 baht per person he could take us to our hotel. After checking were we actually were and arguing with him that he had to take us to the van stop he finally did. He basically tried to scam us. Be very careful with the drivers if you take these service and make sure they take you to the right location.

We booked the night train from Bangkok to Surat Thani, and then a bus from Surat Thani to Khao Sok. What we didn’t know when booking and everybody should keep in mind, the Surat Thani Town bus station is 20 km away from where the train station is. At the train station we were welcomed by staff from our bus company, that basically told everyone we could either take a taxi back to town and take the bus we booked from there, or, pay 70 b extra and we could join the bus from here. So make sure your bus ticket says “Surat Thani train station” (to wherever you want to go, if you arrive by train!) Felt a bit scammed as everyone on our bus had the ‘wrong’ ticket. Friendly people and nice bus ride, happy we could get on the bus even though we were at the wrong station and really well organized. The bus stop in khao sok is about 2 km from most of the hostels, a lot do have a pick up service so contact your place ahead of time and ask about it…. :)

We could take an earlier bus spontaneously and arrived 2h earlier which was great. Support from 12Go and Phantip (the bus company) was excellent. The driver was insane

The driver drove very unsafe, speeding all the time and overtaking in dangerous places. Besides the unsafe driving, the driver was unfriendly. Two stars because the other staff involved were friendly and tried to make the trip pleasant.
