We left with an hour delay and the boat took those 2 hours only to get to the first Gili island, so we missed our second boat from Lombok and had to get a private boat which cost us an arm to go where we were supposed to go! Plus, the boat was literally loaded up to its fullest capacity, it wasn’t a good experience at all.

We have had a great experience using this service.. AC, seats and overall experience using Wahana was great. Although their prices are slightly higher then other operators but I highly recommend using them. Please remember that you will be charged 10k IDR per person to enter the harbour paid directly at counter when you receive your boarding pass and scanable ticket.

Chaotic but looks like it works. Why isn't the process described anywhere? 1. You go to the operator stand with the voucher, where you get a boarding pass. A little tip: look for a sticker for your luggage with the corresponding port of destination. These are essentially behind. 2. You pay the fee for the port and get a receipt with which you can now enter the platform together with the boarding pass. 3. chaos ensues on the climb. However, you should look at your boarding pass, there the ship is shown with a picture that you drive with your name. This is what you are looking for in the harbor. It's either already on the pier or still on the right in the harbour. You can also team up with others with the appropriate color boarding pass. 4. When the ship is there you put down the big luggage (the crewe often says which pile is for which port of destination) but if you have a sticker on your luggage you don't have to worry as much. And the luggage is not unnecessarily loaded and unloaded. 5. the ships are always crowded. The best spots aren't upstairs where the sun is beating down. I found front of ship or doors (if left open) best, depends on ship. With some you can be in the open shade at the back. 6. At the port of destination, the luggage is unloaded with the stickers or those lying on the appropriate heap. 7. Always expect a delay due to baggage chaos at each port.

This company is great, the boat is great, it's very comfortable and the staff are very professional. There's A/C on the boat and it's way better than the other boat companies! Two things to be aware of, though. Fist of all, they boarded 30 minutes early, and left 15 minutes early, which great if you're there, but it's not so good if you run into any problems. But they tell you to be there 1 hour early, so I guess that's why. So DON'T listen to the travel companies or taxi guys who say, "Oh don't worry, all the boats leave late." These guys don't! Next, I asked the guy just as I boarded how long the trip will take to Bangsal. He said, "Just 1.5 hours." It gets to the first stop which is Gili T in 1.5 hours, but there are 2 stops before Bangsal, and he knows that. ALL the boats arrive much later than they say on the listings, so I don't know why they don't just say the real time. Especially considering I asked him once I was already there and he could have just told me the truth. The trip took almost 3 hours. Not such big deal for me, but better to know the real time. Maybe it was because of the weather conditions, I have no idea, but it was a nice day as far as I could see. And reading the reviews of ALL the companies, I think this is just normal for the ferries. But definitely recommend this company over the others!
