Nha Trang Hanh Cafe to Ho Chi Minh City Destination Reviews

F
My girlfriend went to the toilet at night and her socks were drenched in pee. We were supposed to go to Ho Chi Minh center but somewhere in the outskirts we were woken up by people screaming at us that we had to go out. They were so pushy that we ended up forgetting stuff in the bus because of all the stress. After we were put in a minivan that went to pick up and drop off all kind of things in the city before they finally dropped us off in the center.

I can only recommend a trip on the Hanoi-Saigon Express to anyone. Our carriages were old but clean. Air conditioning worked. We were traveling during the day and therefore did not book a sleeper. Was a decent leather seat. It was a bit of a shame that the windows were probably condensed from the previous night journey and then expired. Difficult to photograph. Some of the windows can be opened at the top. I asked the train attendant. Window open and then shot video. I was even allowed to take photos inside the locomotive. Just ask passengers if you want something. They don't know the word "no" in Vietnam. Food is brought to the seat every hour. Hot water comes out of the kettle. A little tip on the approach to Ho Chi Minh City. On the left-hand side in the direction of travel, there is a great view of the city across the Saigon River. I also spent an hour or two in the rather rustic dining car. After ten minutes we had a cool international group together. It was great fun. All in all, a clear recommendation.

It’s long way from Nha Trang to Sai Gon in a car, and we had a very kind driver who helped us out in a bind when no trains or buses were available.

Have a nice day trip It would be great if the daytime berths could be neutralized to accommodate the 4 passengers below. During the day, you don't always need to sleep.

Book the VIP sleeper 22:40 supposed to arrive at 8 am in HCMC. Received text message a few hours before saying the coach would depart at 22 instead, also changing the station from which we were leaving. The message also said i needed to check in at the counter at the station. When we arrived at station the bus was already waiting. There was no one at the counter so still unclear what that was all about. Bus was comfortable and clean, got a blanket an pillow and there was a WC. At 4 am we were poked at and understood we had to get off the bus. Waited for about 10 minutes and then suddenly a minibus arrived. We got on, and 20 minutes later we arrived at on of main stations I HCMC 3,5 hrs before schedule. Useless time to arrive our budget hotell was locked up. Journey itself ok but everything felt quite confusing.

We booked first class. Of course, this cannot be compared with European classes. but I expect at least clean sheets. unfortunately this was not the case. the toilet was also really disgusting. The train is very loud and shakes extremely. It was an experience, but sleeping is almost impossible.
