At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that though we are closely monitoring services, we are still an agency marketplace - meaning we focus on ticketing service and route availability / coverage rather than on factual seat recline angle you got today ^_^

Great! Recommend the lower berths though (upper don't have a window and the curtain is next to the big light)

★★★★★ Mar 17, 2017 (train #13 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Travel Perfect. But waiting for late train 80 minutes not so Perfect. Inside clean. Strong aircondition.
★★★★★ Mar 9, 2017 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Very comfortable. On time. High class service and very modern train. A pillow, cover and bottle of water provided. Each bed has a privacy curtain. Electric plug also available. Only thing is that the lights stay on all the time, so I recommend taking a mask for your eyes. Beds are hard as everywhere in Thailand, I am a big fun of hard matter mattresses, but it may bother some. Delivery of the ticket also went smooth I just showed my 12go voucher and the ticket was given to me.

★★★★☆ Feb 15, 2017 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
The trip from Lop Buri to Chiang Mai was way better than anticipated. We took train number 9 and slept in a second class sleeping car. The train was a new, and modern and the sleeping arrangements were good. Like other people have said when your travelling you have to have a sense of adventure. We met a group of Thai folks heading to a reunion and had a wonderful time with them. I highly recomend.
★★★★☆ Feb 5, 2017 (train #13 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Sleeper very comfortable and staff helpful and friendly. A pity there was a 2 hour delay so I didn't board until midnight...
★★★★★ Feb 3, 2017 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
The 12go.asia staff went above and beyond in arranging my 2nd class Sleeper from Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai. The complexities of the Thai rail system made it difficult to book, as most departures are from Bangkok. The 12go.asia staff worked out the details ahead of time and simply emailed the solution, along if I would like to book. IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE TO DO THIS ON MY OWN. The train arrived and departed on time from Ayutthaya (something that seems to amaze any Thai I relate this to). The train was very clean and comfortable. The entire process was easy and professional. Great service, great value and great experience.

All good, pretty comfortable beds on this night train. Toilets are just what you would expect on a train, decent at start, horrible at the end - nothing unexpected. Just the delay of over one hour make it 4/5 stars.

★★☆☆☆ Oct 13, 2016 (train #9 VIP Sleeper, Thai Railways) :
We booked an upper and lower birth 1st class VIP sleeper, being our first time on a sleeper train expectations were unkown. The train was 40 mins late at Lop Buri station. Cabin was adequate size, clean and the beds were made up for us. It got really cold though, as the aircon cannot be adjusted and the vents were broken and couldn't ve closed properly. Our biggest complaint was as rhe previous reviewer below stated the food lady came around with a menu and we selected breakfast for a set price displayed. We ended up receiving an additional 4 orange juices which we assumed were included and had to pay an extra 200 baht. When questioned we were veing hurried off the train as it had just pulled into the station...
★★★★★ Sep 22, 2016 (train #1 Class II Ladies Only, Thai Railways) :
It was far better than expected, lower berths are definitively more comfortable. Everything was clean!!! Bathroom innthe train smelled quite bad but it was bearable for just a night.

★★★★☆ Apr 19, 2016 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
I was great! 1 I had a 2nd class with AC with was what I needed! the bed (lower berth) was super! The only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom.
★★★☆☆ Apr 14, 2016 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
The train was good, just slow, and they don't dim the lights in the evening so in the upper berth you're right next to the light, best to bring a sleep mask. The workers walk around the train offering food and drinks. But they don't tell you the price until after, and then they ask for outrageous amounts, I had to pay 120Baht for the smallest coffee and most sugary orange juice. Don't buy anything from them, we thought it was included with the cost of the ticket. But it was an added fee.
★★★★★ Mar 25, 2016 (train #13 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Perfect ticket pick up. Train an hour late and a bit annoying that the lights are left on overnight. Curtains around bed make this just about ok. But hey, this might not be five star accommodation but it's a five star adventure.
★★★★★ Mar 13, 2016 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Everything was fine. I liked the staff.
★★★★☆ Nov 23, 2015 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Simply saying trip was better than expected

★★★★★ Nov 15, 2015 (train #9 Class II Sleeper AC, Thai Railways) :
Todo perfecto. Fui dos días antes del viaje a por los billetes y ya los tenían preparado sin ningún problema. Recomendable 100% ya que es de las pocas opciones que hay para reservar tren online y no cobran mucha comision
