Passenger reviews out of total 685 passengers who traveled with us on this route.

At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

Well organized, but 150B for the last kilomerer from Saladan pier to hotel is maybe a bit overcharging

The travelling wit Seatran: the Ferry and the coach was perfect, really comfortable and aircon’d. As soon as we changed over to another company for the last part of our journey (Krabi to Lanta) we have to wait 2 hours for a driver, then the driver we got seemed furosiously angry and drove like he was playing mario kart (badly) the seatbelts didn’t work my partner and I were actually worried for our lives. The he decided to swap us all out of one bus and into another. That journey was better but I’m being generous by saying better. I’d have rather paid to get to Krabi with Seatran and sought out my own transport for the next part of the journey!

Everything was fine from Koh Samui to Krabi. Speed boat is superb (altought a bit overbooked). Logisticts was fine. Switching to comfy cosches was good. But then, at the Lomprayah office in Krabi - we had to wait for a minivan which took us a 2-3 km durther to Matcha Tours office which seems to be use as outsourcing for Lomprayah - we waited for 30 minutes for a mini bus (while they tolda us to wait 50 minutes). All bags were thrown at the rear next to two tiny seats we took. We had to sit squizzed Between the luggage and seats in front for 2,5 hour. We even paid additionally at Matcha to drop us at our staying place but the driver did not know where it is and asked us to leave 800m from the spot. Fortunatelly I showed him the map and asked to drop us in the correct place what he did. Overall it was ok and worked but we were not infromed by 12go asia that half of the tour will not be operated by Lomprayah bit some other operator which we could check first.

Firstly the transfer from Samui to Krabi was excellent! A high spped catamaran to Surit Thani followed by an air conditioned double decker bus to Krabi. Then it all went wrong! We were offloaded at an office in Krabi to be then transferred to mini buses for the onward journey to Koh Lantz. The office staff were intent on using this time to sell us transfers, onward ferry journeys from Koh Lanta etc, rather than facilitating the onward journey! We were then loaded into a series of minibuses and moved no more than 2km to another office in Krabi where the selling process was repeated! We were finally loaded into mini buses for the journey to Lanta and then when we were 30 kms (20 miles) from Koh Lanta, the driver decided to have a 15 minute stop at a service station whose owners he was obviously familiar with! In short the transfer from Samui to Krabi was excellent. From Krabi to Koh Lantz a disaster!

The ferry from Koh Samui to Donsak was good (though the waves were huge) and the minivan from Donsak to Krabi was fine. But the driver from Krabi to Koh Lanta refused to drop us off at our hotel. He wanted to drop us off 30 minutes away but we refused. The van was hot and very crowded and he took boxes from people at the bus station in Krabi to drop off in Koh Lanta.
