Our trip was awful... difficulties to find the good spot (3 McDonald on Khao San road...), bus late about 1.5 hours, one guy, not travelling with us who is explaining the rules of the compagny and the border so fast that we cannot understand it... on top on that, I woke up the driver who felt asleep driving... !!! we were slaloming on the road during the night. I saw a Cockroach in the bus also... and then the driver decided to take a 1hour Nap, we are not complaining about that for safety reason but is all that normal ? After that he puts his music on his phone so loudly (It was a night bus), we couldn’t sleep because of the noise. the only good things are the seat which are comfortable, and the admin help to cross the border with 2 nice guys from the company at the middle of the trip who helped us with the VISA . For all those reasons We have chosen for our trip Back to Bangkok to take the plane instead of using our bus ticket which was already booked (even if we are losing money)... We would like to advise other clients about the poor condition of this bus company... the comments on the internet were right... avoid this and pay more for safety and comfy reasons.

The bus was completely empty which was amazing as we got to sit anywhere and spread out. It went really quick as well. So thankful they take care of most of the process of visas when you get there as that was a headache I didn’t need. Thank you and will use you again in the future if possible :) Thanks, Ellee and Greg

Very helpful staff and nice trip. They sorted out visas into Cambodia with no fuss at all.

Bus ride and service was great. Snacks and lunch was provided. All was well until arrival in siem reap. They alighted us at a bus terminal (it's different when you input siem reap giant ibis in google maps) its away from the city. We were swarmed by tuk tuk drivers who were very very persistent. Please ensure that you have usd/local currency if you are planning to arrange your own transport from the terminal as there isn't any atm there.

Good service. We had a great travel. There was a lot of leg room and with free use of blanket. The bus also has toilet.

The trip went smooth, and I feel comfortable recommending this company to others. I was quite worried about this trip because of all of the stories you hear about the Cambodian border so I decided to write a detailed review that might help others like me. I started the journey by booking a Grab ride to '12Go Makkasan Station' (Just typed it like that into the app) and it took me exactly to the place where the 'Giant Ignis' to Siem reap bus was already waiting. I arrived there around 08:10 and as I opened the door to exit the grab car, a representative of 12Go already approached me, asking where am I going. I showed her the E-ticket on my phone, she scanned it, told me the bus is already here and asked me to wait until the bus is ready for boarding. Waited until 08:25 and then she told me I now go on board. On the bus, there were 3 staff members who took care of my suitcase and showed me where to seat. To my surprise, I was the only person on the bus. Only one other guy joined the trip a few minutes later and we departed ahead of schedule at 08:35. Yup. We were just 2 passengers on a whole bus. (And I didn't take the flight to keep it eco-friendly...) Later we were given some forms to fill for the visa, paid the $40, and gave the staff member our passports. The seats were clean and comfortable, and the wifi and USB phone charge was working great. They gave us cold Nescafe coffee in a can and a sweet pastry as breakfast. There was a 10 minutes bathroom stop, after around 2 hours of driving, in a gas station with many options for food, drinks, coffee and so on. Once we approached the border (around 12:30) the bus stopped near the Cambodian embassy, the staff member went down for around 10 minutes and came back with our visas ready and gave us our passports back. After 20 minutes after that, the bus got as close as he could to the border, we went down with our passports and Thai departure cards (the small card you get when entering Thailand) and went through Thai immigration. That took around 20 minutes. (The staff member was with us the all-time) Once we crossed the border to Cambodia we went by foot for around 5 minutes (Just followed the staff member) to the Cambodian immigration to get our stamp. The line there took another 10 minutes and our bus was already waiting nearby. After the stamp, you can go to the toilet inside a nearby casino if you need, ask the staff. The entire immigration part took around 40 minutes in total. Finally, we went back on the bus for another 2.5 hours drive, The final section to arrive Siem reap. At that point, 2 other travelers joined our trip. Apparently, they took the train to the border (For 40 THB!) and from the border to Siem Reap it they paid another $10. We were all given a vegetarian lunch, fried rice, and some cucumber, in a plastic container. Similar to what they have in 7/11. We got to Siem reap earlier than expected around 16:00. There were some Tuk-tuk drivers there waiting, we paid 3 USD for the ride to our hostel in the city. (I found out later, Cambodia has Grab Tuk-tuk! and it's cheaper)

Good service, breakfast and small lunch included. Good wifi aboard. They handled the visas for the passengers with an extra cost of 10 usd. But they made it easy so you dont need to worry about anything. Arrive a little bit later than expected but ok. The bus station is far away crossing the city, so then you need a tuk tuk to get back to town where most of the hostels are.

the bus was clean and the guide was accomodating. however, during the trip, we had so many bus stops that may have lengthened our trip. also, the drop-off point was different from what was posted in their page. the change of drop-off point caused us an additional transpo fee to our hotel.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience on this bus: the seats were good, reclining fully; they did provide water and blankets and a snack (cupcake) and wifi. The worker has provided us information about the trip and warned us about tuk tuk drivers who will pretend to work with the bus company. He indeed offered to help with visa for an extra fee. We didn't use and were not forced to.

Bus is comfortable, water and blanket provided but they try to scam you at a border with overpriced VISA. Do not pay them anything.

Pros: got there in good time, border crossing was fairly smooth, driver was safe. Cons: didn’t actually get dropped off at ‘Siem Reap Giant Ibis main terminal’ instead you get dropped off around 30mins from the city centre at a bus station filled with tuk tuks waiting for your business. Second, you HAVE to pay the $5 fee for your visa to be ‘processed faster’ completely unnecessary and it’s a shame Cambodia is so corrupt. They also don’t let you take your big luggage with you across the border, they insist that they will do it however we must have waited for 20 minutes for the luggage to arrive so it would have been quicker for us to have done it ourselves. I was also worried that we wouldn’t get our luggage etc. due to previous reports. The guides English also wasn’t that great and no one could really understand him. WiFi only worked from the Cambodian border and was pretty intermittent. If the whole process of crossing the border was less corrupt and sketchy then they would get more business as more people would do it.

One of the staffs was a bit irate and was yelling when I and my husband, and another passenger, were asking questions about the visa on arrival application process. We understand that he could’ve been tired, like we were, but customers are customers. We must be treated with respect especially when we treated them with respect by doing their jobs.

Cons 1. Bus was almost an hour late 2. The terminal address at Siem Reap needs to be updated in the ticket it is not in Khmer Pub Street rather in Borey Grand Bus Terminal. Pros 1. Nice clean bus 2. Free snacks and lunch 3. Comfy reclining seats and foot rest

It’s a comfy bus with 2 & 1 seats row with Toilet, but some seats are too close (less gap for footrest) and some footrests were not working properly (need repair). Good staffs that taking care everything, including when crossing the border with the same bus (luggages stay in the bus). We missed our free TukTuk from hotel as the bus was >1 hour late, but the bus also provided free TukTuk to our hotel, which Chan To (TukTuk driver) is nice and offered us US$25 day trip ride to Angkor temple complex on the next day.

The van from Bangkok to Cambodia border was higher standard, the van from Cambodia border to Siem Reap was not good at all, missing seatbelts and old van.
