We had in total more than 1h delay. The driver was late at the start despite the fact that he was parked in the area of departure for a long time. He was very rude, didn’t spoke to us nicely and didn’t explain to anyone who was foreigner what happens in Da Nang : the foreigner were deposit at the normal drop off position, the other had a special treatment and were dropped off at their hotel. The driver yelled at us in his language and we didn’t understand what happened and that we had to change vehicle. He made a pit stop for himself but didn’t asked it we needed to get out of the bus after 2h30 of driving. The usb plug didn’t worked and we finished the trip on a less comfortable véhicule. The second driver of the car between Da Nang and Hoi An was quite nice.

We have travelled on G8 buses a couple of times now, each time the communication prior to travel has been excellent. They check that we know when and where departure is. This bus actually stopped down the road to let a passenger on who was half a hour late. The coach itself is very comfortable, has recline, footrest and massage options and charging points. Very clean. Super service, I have hesitation in recommending. Travelled from Da Nang to Hue and then Hue to Hoi An a few days later.

Booked a limousine bus with photos of sit up seats which was also confirmed on our ticket. We paid extra for this compared to other options available such as a sleeper bus. When the bus turned up it was a sleeper bus and I was told only the 8:30am option had the upright seats. This was annoying as we would have picked a different option at a better time and price if we had known, we only picked this options because of the type of vehicle which was in the end not what we got. We also had to be there 30mins before as bus could turn up early or late, so could have been waiting for a hour for the bus and they couldn’t give a more accurate time of departure. It came on time and the ride was fine. We did however arrive an hour later than expected despite leaving on time, the driver just stopped for 30mins on the side of the road with no explanation. So trip was 4 hours, plus we had to be there 30mins early. So a three hour drive took 4.5 hours. I gave two stars as the bus was fine, just not what we booked.
