We read lots of horror stories, but our train was on time and had only a few minutes delay wehn we got to Dong Hoi. The reservation of our seats also worked.

1st class was clean , comfortable and great service. Although, the delayed departure was shocking .. we rushed to Gá Hué with 5 minutes to spare, only to be told the time of departure was to be delayed by half an hour.. In actual fact , the departure time was 1 hour delayed 🧐
