I called to confirm pick location had changed and they hung up on me and would no longer pick up my calls after several attempts. I was lucky the visa office informed me of the new pick up location and the hotel manager confirmed it when we arrived.

Comfortable seats. Easy to navigate and little fuss. The train was 15 minutes late in to Da Nang but because of single track streches on the route, the lateness of a train coming up from Da Nang caused us to wait for a little longer on route so it could pass. Cheap, effective, comfortable way to travel

I'm an expat living in Da Nang. On a recent trip to Hue, my wife and I decided to forgo the bus and try the train service from Hue to Da Nang. We heard it was "rustic" and "authentic." This turned out to be true, but only in the pejorative sense. When we got our tickets, the only seats available were the 1st class sleeper cars which advertised soft beds and clean sheets. What we received was anything but: the beds were dirty and covered with hairs from the previous occupants. Food wrappers were still in the rooms. The beds were hard as rocks. The room was full of mosquitos. This trip gets two stars only because the coastal route around Hai Van Pass was pretty. But now that I've seen it, I won't take the train again. The bus is cheaper, faster, and somehow cleaner, even with old food wrappers on the floor and "grandpa" picking his nose in the seat behind you. The only possible benefit I can see to taking the train is that it runs ten times a day, but even then ours was three hours late getting to its destination. Recommended only as a novelty—unfortunately, one without much redeeming charm.

The whole experience was efficient. The train was delayed by one hour and the station had a waiting room. The platform was laid out easy with boards telling you where each coach stopped. Although ours wasn’t actually listed ! Once on train easy to find seat/bed. Very comfy and pretty clean a few marks etc but people had just got off so hard to ensure spotless. A little table for us and bathroom at end of carriage. The view from The train was stunning. Overall a rather pleasant experience. Would definitely do it again.

Train was on time. Was pleasantly surprised how clean the 2nd class seating area was. Seats had footrest. One downside was the air conditioning didn’t seem to be on or was too low so the carriage was a bit warm.

12go makes booking so easy! The trip went smoothly. Seats were fairly comfortable; and even though space is an issue for my 6'2" large sized husband he did not feel squished. The train left and arrived on time. There were snacks available for purchase but we had packed our own.

I didn't took the bus as the operator she's kept saying delay 30 mind my schedule to leave hue is 9:45 I came early to the bus station around 8:30 and show my ticket he didn't say anything that bus will be delay, when time is 9:30am I asked where is the bus there's a lady in the office and she said wait 10:30am and when time is 10:30 she said bus will arrive 11:00 - 11:30! You know that there's is cheap local bus 70,000 vnd there are on time. This is mistake to book the ticket I read properly in what is in your platform I should have serve refund. I don't deserved to be treat it like that! FYI DON'T BOOK IN 12GO ASIA IF YOUR TRAVELLING BY BUS EXPECT THERE BUS ALWAYS DELAY. Better to book in your home stay or hostel.

The train station was on time . This is a long journey by train 3hrs, only 1.5hrs on the bus. It was difficult to board. The step up was very steep and being little I found it difficult to get up. the staff on the train did not help lift up my luggage just looked as passengers struggled and helped each other. The second class seats are very tight with nowhere to put your legs. The guard came aboard, sat down opposite us then proceeded to pick his feet, nose, cough up flem then slept. Again getting off no help didn’t know if were at the right station. I’d recommend the bus, quicker and more space.

We selected two window seats on the same side of the cabin (one next to the other) when booking online through 12 GO website but the actual seats assigned on our tickets turned out to be on separate sides and a few rows from each other. Seemed the numbering on the actual seats vs. on the website layout were different. Although, not very clean as there were some cockroaches, the train was on time and comfortable enough for a short trip.

Train arrived on time, and there was plenty of room for our full size suitcases in the overhead racks. Staff came round selling various food and drink items. The seats were a good size with plenty of leg room. Happy with the price we paid for the tickets.

Totally fine for a shorter journey. We got on at Hue and went to Dang An, the 1st class cabin was clean and well presented. The sheets were new and we had the lower bunks which I’d recommend. The bathrooms were much better than I was expecting, but I’d advise taking tissues with you. Hot and cold water available in each car for cup noodles or drinking. Bargain way to travel.

Went from Hue to Da Nang without any issue, but the train was pretty dirty and gross. Couldn't really see out the window because it was so full of grime. Also almost couldn't find my seat at first because most of the seats have lost their numbers, or have had them written in by hand.
