Hue to Danang Destination Reviews

The service is good, but it could be better. He picked me up at the hotel, which is a plus point. However, we waited 10 minutes for two people, who were not "passengers" but locals hitchhiking. I believe I was the only "passenger" in the van. But it was full. When we arrived in Da Nang, the driver took everyone to their destination. As I had read the stop location on the voucher, I asked, at the third stop to drop off the locals, if it would be the last. The driver said no and asked if I wanted to drop me off at the hotel, which I thought was excellent, and at first it would be free, as he wrote in GT and then he changed his mind and asked for 70kVND. I accepted, but what was free cost more than 1/3 of the trip. Detail that during the trip, had a woman vomiting and they did nothing.

Was missing being in a view seat which round be all those ending in 4. Was requested at booking. All view seats were given locals who slept the journey

No wifi, locals were smoking on trains. Toilet should be cleaned more often.

First off, the entire Hue to Da Nang journey took 3 hours, not 1.5 hours as stated on the website - this is very misleading. The driver was 20 min late, he called the hotel and told them that he would be late, I didn't receive any messages / whatsapp from the driver. Then the hotel front desk told me the driver was going to be late after I checked out. I could have waited a bit in my room if I had gotten the info earlier. The driver spoke very little, very little English, basic Hi, yes, no, sorry, nevertheless he was polite. I'm not sure if it's the Vietnamese culture, they just can't keep their hands off the phone. He was reading messages, texting, making calls and answering calls on the phone (no Bluetooth no "hands-free") throughout the entire journey. Hence he was driving slow on the fast lane while the other cars were honking and over-taking us.

I think I paid alot more for my train ticket than should of..The section about insurance is confusing. I didn't need it, but didn't know there was an option to choose, No Insurance. So I ended up paying more for some. Next time I know.
