Charging 5 USD for the visa (on top of the visa fee) is fine by me, let's call it a service fee. But why the hell do I need to pay another dollar for having an e-visa for Vietnam when I am leaving Vietnam, this I won't understand. You need a bribe- fine, but please let me know beforehand, because I had no dollars left and was thus threatened by the fat cat Vietnamese immigration officer as well as the bus staff who was fully cooperating with him. It's not about the amount, it's about the employees being dicks.

Driver didn't know explain where we should transfer to another bus in Phenomenon, it was 10pm e another would leave at 11pm, many tuk tuk driver's were offering a lift, but they didn't know where take de 2nd bus, after all we found out that the company would sent a tuk tuk to pickup us. In Saigon I saw other companies offer the same trip for the same price in direct bus, so if I come back I will not travel anymore with Kumbho.

The entire trip was very comfortable and the staff are accomodating and helpful to our needs. Though we arrived late to our destination due to long immigration line but atleast we arrived safe. Thank you so much!

I am fully aware that we will be transferred to a different bus upon reaching Phnom Penh. For me it was a seamless travel experience

The conductor of the bus is nice and looked after us during the trip.
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), Oct 16, 2019
The bus trip was alright and at the border crossing was good because the staff was their to assist us. Arriving at Phnom Penh, we had to wait for a van that would take us to Siem Reap. So, he drive around town picking up passengers. But, i think it was alright. The van was spacious enough and were'nt jammed pack. Important thing is that we arrived at our destination safely.
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), Oct 5, 2019
Buses very confortables and always at time, even the person who picked up us at the transfer. But no wifi at the bus, no information about nothing from the personal buses.

No thrills easy flight to Siem reap airport from Saigon. Arrived early!!
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), Sep 25, 2019
The trip was as expected, long but seats were somewhat comfortable. My only concern is that the driver and conductor of the buses do not communicate with foreign passengers/tourists. They do not even guide them of what to do or where to go next i.e. immigration, eat, etc. If the staff in the bus cannot speak in English, the best effort I may suggest is for them to at least have placards/sign boards to show tourists which may say IMMIGRATION or BORDER and REST STOP. I hope you consider this. Thanks!

Everything was perfect! A big atention, a great comfortable and calm journey. On time with kindness of the staff. The border without any problem (with our evisa to Cambodia). Sufficient stops during the travel! We recomand!
Bus Express, The SinhTourist (The SinhTourist), Sep 16, 2019
The Conductor of the bus was approachable and communicates well. The sad thing was, we did not arrive on time going to siem reap. We were late more than 2 hours from the expected arrival time. The bus was too slow.
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), Sep 7, 2019

Bus Express, The SinhTourist (The SinhTourist), Aug 18, 2019
The transferred me into another bus and told me about that change just 5 minutes before I had to do it.
The bus supposed to arrive at 7.30Pm at siem reap and arrived at 9pm.
The last driver stopped to buy some food with another passenger in our way.
That it was Unbelievable!

The first half of our trip, travelling from Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh, was fine. We had good seats, enough space for our legs and the bagage and a friendly man who helped us with the visa.
However, when we arrived in Phnom Penh it was not sure which bus we had to take and after asking the men from the travel agency, they put us on a tuktuk to the other side of the city. They said our bus would leave there, but it turned out it wasn’t a comfortable bus like we had the first part. We we’re put in a “VIP bus”, but I’m not quite sure why they call it this: it was a 12 person mini bus instead of a VIP coach. The seats were small and the bus was overcrowded. The travel agency that put us on this bus was not very helpful. When we asked if we could use Wifi or a telephone to let our hostel in Siem Reap know that we would come with this agency (so that they could pick us up at the “bus station”), they told us that this wasn’t possible and that there would be someone at the agency where we would arrive in Siem Reap to help us call the hostel. This wasn’t the case when we arrived in Siem Reap and we had to pay for a a tuktuk instead of being able to use the free pickup service from the hostel.
We give our trip 3 stars, because the first half of it, there was nothing to complain about. Nevertheless the second half of the trip wasn’t that good: when promised a VIP coach one shouldn’t get a minivan.

the bus are all on time.. we liked the Kumho Samco Bus.. its so comfy.. only downside is most of their staffs cannot speak english so we are having a hard time talking/asking them about the booking.. but overall, it's good =D you just need to be persistent in asking the details of the booking to avoid conflict or issues while the travel
i'm also thankful for the reviews here.. it did help me in this trip =)

The bus from HCMC-PP was great. It has wide legroom, new bus, AC working properly and a huge bus. However, the bus from PP-SReap was quite small and with tiny sleeperchair/bed but it’s ok because they provided blankets and AC working properly. The only problem was the conductor and driver just drop us instantly to a certain place without informing us that it is already our destination. Thank God there were some passengers who knows how to speak english so we were able to asked around.

It was a lot of space in the van,
very friendly staff.

We booked a trip from Saigon to Siem Reap with a change of bus in Phnom Penh. As we read a lot of negative stories, we tried to prepare as much as possible. We arranged our Visa's online, we searched for basic phrases in Vietnamese and Khmer, we looked for possible accommodation in Phnom Penh and we downloaded offline maps. The first stress moment was at the border in Bavet. There was a delay because of a malfunction on the computers that issued the Evisa ( off course we were the only persons on the bus with such a visas ). The bus driver however was waiting with us untill we received our stamps. Back on the bus, we were stuck in traffic a few kilometers behind the border ( Welcome to Cambodia ). The bus couldn't move for 3 hours. This meant that we would miss our connection bus in Phnom Penh. Surprisingly we received a phone call from the bus company that we were scheduled for the first bus the next day at 0830 hrs. Around midnight we arrived at the bus station in Phnom Penh. A couple of tuc tucs were waiting for us to bring us to a hotel. We had the feeling that they tried to scam us ( two helpless tourists stranded at midnight in the middle of Cambodja ). As we were well prepared, we declined their offer and walked for 10 minutes to our hostel. The next day we were on the bus of 0830 hrs towards Siem Reap and arrived at our destination with a half day delay. If you are not on a budget, go by plane otherwise go prepared and with low expectations.

I wasn’t expecting a propeller plane. Got me there none the less. Comfortable with extra leg room and over half the plane was empty lead to me having my own aisle

People are not helpful. Terrible customer service. I went to the busline’s station and presented my ticket. They did not tell me anything, just to wait til the time. Then apparently, I’m in the wrong bus station. The bus will end in Phnom Penh and i have to wait for a tuktuk to pick me up for the next bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. I was alone, was not given any instructions by anyone. I was just dropped and was told by some tuktuk drivers that someone will come to pick me up. This was at 10PM. To make matters worse, it was a different busline on the second trip and the hotel has arranged someone to pick me up. Obviously that didn’t happen cos of the different endpoint of the bus and I had to walk to the hostel at 5 in the morning because no clear instructions were given. Very terrible experience.
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), Jun 15, 2019
It was not a good experience. All of them cannot communicate so they couldn’t explain everything. Thus, it will leave you hanging and it’s for you to find out the next step. We didn’t know that the bus will stop in Phom Penh and you will ride a tuk tuk going to the place where the van going to siem reap is (we really did a hard time finding our way). If you are a solo foreign traveler, you will feel a bit nervous. So, I may say that it’s not advisable for a solo traveler for this trip.

Smooth border crossing to Cambodia, staff was very efficient and kind. Transfer bus to siem reap from Phnom penh was not so comfortable, however it had wifi which the first bus didn't have.
Bus Express, The SinhTourist (The SinhTourist), Jun 5, 2019
Before the bus leave Ho Chi Minh they already let us know that the AC is not working and told us after we pass the VIETNAM-CAMBODIA Boarder we will transfer to a Van so me and my friends okay with that we suffered for about 2HRS sweating inside the bus we rode from HCM til Cambodia Boarder then we transferred from a van but still the AC is still not working well. So another 4HRS sweating when we arrived Pnom Penh we waited for our chartered bus going to Siem Reap but unfortunately the bus is too hot inside AC not functioning so well. Everyone in the bus are complaining. The while 18hrs travel from HCM to Siem Reap was been a sweating experience. Staff are approachable but don’t do anything about the situation. They come along the boarders but didn’t inform what to do there. I can’t recommend this travel agency.

Bus is comfortable. Passport processing at immigration is not organized.
Bus Express, Kumho Samco (Kumho Samco), May 28, 2019
It was generally okay. We caught the 3pm HCMC to Siem Reap ride. Upon reaching Phnom Penh, we were transferred to another bus. Though it was not disclosed in the terms and condition. I hope it did. I think Kumho Samco Buslines franchise is only to Phom Penh. Good thing, we were transferred to a sleeper bus. under Mey Hong Ltd. Also, I just hope that they have an english speaking staff aboard.
