Passenger reviews out of total 1,994 passengers who traveled with us on this route.

At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

The price is good but it is in a very full very cramped mini van. Border crossing adds around an hour delay so if you take the afternoon option you will be dropped at the bus station in Georgetown late. We arrived an hour late so 9pm. Also driver dropped other local passengers off first in various points in Penang which added to delay.

Left right on time...a little confusing at the border crossing into Malaysia...could have given better direction, we stood in the wrong line for 20 minutes before someone informed us to change lines. Otherwise good service and dropped us at our hotel in Georgetown

Good trip, old van but driver was good and drove me to my hotel in Georgetown which was new and quite hard to find. Older driver in his 50s with a moustash and red rimmed glasses. He was very good and drove well, all in all a good trip and cheap.

Agence and first contact with agence was good But driver was very crazy. Don't speak english (no explanation for border passage) And we are not sure that the point of drop off to be the one that was written on the ticket Agence ok, but drivers not ok

Rather spacey van, enough leg room to be comfortable. Driver didn't speak any English but the different checkpoints at the border crossing went very smooth anyway. Would definitely recommend again. However, the departure time is wrong. It is 09:30, not 09:00 as stated on the 12go ticket.

The driver tail-ended a truck, didn't stop to check the damage nor apologize to the passengers. He proceeded to drive recklessly and did not provide bathroom stops along the way. We did arrive on time and was picked up at a reasonable hour .

The driver was terrible. We got picked up at Red Planet Hotel. Driven around the block to a travel agency that filled in an insurance form and waited another hour. The van finally arrived. The driver not friendly. Picked up other passengers along the way as well as his dinner at the markets. But the driver was addicted to Facebook. Every set of lights he was messenging. While driving was constantly on his phone and Facebook. Even watched a video while driving. The police pulled him over for some reason. At the border, he stopped the van opened the side door and just stood there and said nothing. None of us knew where to go. Eventually he pointed in the direction of where the door was. The driver not friendly and a very dangerous driver while on his phone and Facebook.

The trip was very smooth and convenient. Departure time: Is actually at 9:30 am, not at 9 as mentioned on the booking. 12Go and the operator should double check and update times accordingly to avoid a too early arrival. Bus: was a spacious minivan, with one row less than usual, resulting in a lot of leg-space which is awesome for tall people. Ride: was quick and without an interruptions, sometimes the driver was a bit too fast, but he knows his business and still managed to drove save. Border passing: no waiting queues, overall it didn't took longer than 20 minutes, there was no bus change. On Malaysian side you have to take all of your luggage with you.

Trip was fine except the driver drove the entire journey with his foot on and off the accelerator pedal every few seconds, it made me feel quite sick and I was relieved to get off. This style of driving also wastes a lot of fuel. Apart from this the journey was good. Thanks.
