Passenger reviews out of total 67 passengers who traveled with us on this route.

At 12Go our operators offer three types of service:

Cheap, Fast, Good - but you can usually pick only two of them!
Cheap & Fast won’t be Good. (e.g. buses from/to Khao San Road, local buses or 3rd class trains)
Cheap & Good won’t be Fast. (e.g. VIP trains in Thailand)
Fast & Good won’t be Cheap. (e.g. private limousine services, or VIP24 buses vs Express buses)

Make your choice! Please remember that while we are closely monitoring the services, we are still an agency marketplace. That means we focus on ticketing services and route availability & coverage rather than on the factual seat reclining angle you will get on the bus today.

train #32 VIP Sleeper, Thai Railways
★★★★☆
Booking was easy, like many others we freaked out at the email with 200 refund thinking they had downgraded our seats and had to phone to confirm. Ticket pick up was easy at the parcel station and boarding was early and smooth. These trains are built for tiny Asians, everything was cramped incl the toilet which i like others struggled getting in and out of. It’s funny the advertise the hallway as spacious, it is not. But the train being relatively new means it feels a little more Luxurious and it was spotless clean. The shower was great tho and with the train starting on Hat Yai and is boarding nearly and hour before it left meant I could be the first in for a shower and pjs on chilling out in our room. Slept terribly mainly due to the bed pads being so hard, but also done the noisy passengers either side of us. Actually meant we got pretty much no sleep. Despite speaking to the crew nothing really changed. For what we paid and as an experience we loved it overall, and seeing the countryside early this morning on arriving into Hua Hin was lovely. Would I train again given the choice to fly? Probably not. Unless it was much more convenient Because sleeper doesn’t mean you’ll get any sleep.
