Hanoi to Sapa Destination Reviews

clean bus, friendly staff, they will stop every 2 hour, so you can go to rest room or buy food , but a little bit smelly. you will get a bottle of water and blanket, best sleeper bus i ever tried
Bus VIP Cabin lower berth, Sapa Express, Sep 23, 2023
The bus office and pickup place is next to the Cafe Phuong Linh (left side) if you are wondering. The sleeper bus was on time (though it stopped twice to pickup other passengers in the town). The seat was comfortable for a 1.75m height person like me though you still cannot fully stretch your legs. Aircond was working well and they give you a blanket too. There is no curtain (except on the windows) if your concern is about privacy but i still think overall it was a good experience with this price. Also, they stopped once after 3 hours ride at a nice R&R for you to grab dinner or some drinks if you don’t bring your own food.

Don’t be above the wheels. It’s awful we didn’t sleep. When they say the bus arrives at 4, it really is and you have to leave the bus really express
Bus VIP Cabin, Full Moon Party Tour (Full Moon Party Tour), Sep 12, 2023
The bus was fine, although the chair to lift it up didn't work and neither did the window blinds. Bad employees, they treat you horribly for no reason. All the comments I read about the drivers were true. The bus company could talk to them, since you ask my opinion, take it into account and take action.
Bus VIP 20, Grouptour (Công ty du lịch quốc tế Grouptour), Sep 11, 2023
The room is spacy for 4 berth, glad to have compliment snacks and drinks, toilet is clean, washing place is good for refresh and bed is nice and comfortable. Just the train is too noisy for me to keep sleeping, and a bit shaky as I am easily get carsick.
Train #SP3 VIP Sleeper 4x, Laman Express, Sep 11, 2023
We booked an express sleeper bus ticket from Hanoi to sapa. Someone came to pick us up from our hotel with a scooter, but there were two of us. The pick up person who speaks good English walked with us to the get on point. Our departure from Hanoi old quarter was a little late (around 30 mins?) but it didn’t bother us. The seat was comfortable and lengthy. I was able to sleep most of the bus ride. There were 3-4 time toilet break which was nice. A bottle of water and a vacuum sealed bread was given to each passenger. Bus drivers were nice. Although they didn’t speak English, they kindly notify everyone about toilet break etc with google translate. We arrived just after 2pm where the bus stopped in from of their office at sapa. I strongly recommend daiichi to whoever is deciding on bus provider in Vietnam.

Good for the price, need to remove some cockroach. We'll take it next time
Bus Sleeper 40, Daiichi Travel (Daiichi Travel), Sep 8, 2023
The bus is comfortable but the team was so rude. They need to learn manners. Do get the night bus by the way, they drove crazy because they wanted to finish early and that is dangerous because the roads in sapa are very tricky.
Bus VIP 22, Grouptour (Công ty du lịch quốc tế Grouptour), Sep 7, 2023
The staff was real welcome and the bus stopped several times. The bus could be cleaned better
Bus Sleeper 40, Daiichi Travel (Daiichi Travel), Sep 3, 2023
Overall good and would book again. Given blanket was smelly and dirty and obviously used a couple of times. Staff was unfriendly but not rude. TV did not work Comfy bed, good blinds, driving style was decent.
