The bus was an hour late, leaving at 5am not 4am, meaning I missed my tour I had booked. I had to move to three different busses. The bus staff were also rather impolite.

The driver came 30 minutes late. Seat at the door to the back 2 rows is broken, so you have to squeeze hard to get in and out. Trash was left from previous passengers - did not get a cleaning service. Driver was very impolite, he drove past my hotel -didn’t bother to turn around, just simply asked us a couple of senior citizens to get off since it’s only 100 meters of uphill walking with our suitcases!

We left exactly on time. After a bit more than an hour there was a 30 minutes stop. We arrived in Sapa at 3am. In Sapa we could stay in the bus for a few more hours (no toilet available).

Nice ride. Remember you are on your own at 6:00am in Sapa so make sure you have arranged a place to go. Also us the boarding address in the confirmation as Grab does not have that location under "sapa express station"

Luggage got dirty and wet due to a water leak. If you are taller than 190cm the seat/bed is not long enough.
