The ferry was delayed by more than an hour, and the journey, which was supposed to take an hour and a half, was much longer. If you get seasick easily, I don't recommend this ferry.

Pros: Small complimentary snack, bottled water, and a refreshing cold towel. Cons: Severe delays, cramped and unbalanced vessel, heavy rolling in open water. If you are prone to motion sickness or looking for a smooth, punctual transfer, you will want to skip GiliGili Fastboat. While the service tries to start on a high note by handing out a small snack, water, and a cold towel—a gesture that feels like a pre-emptive apology—the actual journey leaves a lot to be desired. First, calling it a "fast boat" is a stretch; the trip took a full hour longer than scheduled. More concerning, however, was the boat itself. The vessel felt oversized for its narrow profile, making it feel noticeably top-heavy and unbalanced in open waters. Every moderate swell caused excessive swaying, giving passengers the unsettling impression that the boat might tip over. The cramped seating only heightened the discomfort during the prolonged ride. Unless you have strong sea legs and don't mind significant delays, consider booking a larger, more stable operator for the crossing.

Once off the ferry at the office where advised to go - the hotel transfer I had paid for does not exist it was either catch a shuttle which stopped at all centres (approx 3 + hours) or pay extra for a cab. Grab wld have cost 70 Nz $. Locals charged 40. So not happy as the service with selected hotel drop off definately does not exist )

Best operator for Gili trip, the boat is pretty big and safe for rough sea. The facility inside the boat very good, the TV, we watch the movie the whole journey.

Boats are always running late (1-2hours) so it ends up taking the full day I would recommend travelling early. We have travelled on a few of these island boats and this is one of the bigger boats so feels safer.

When we got picked up we stopt at 3 more islands that was not told us so we got a delay of 45 min its better to inform the people that there are more stops on the way back
