train #SE7 1st Class Sleeper, Vietnam Railways, Nov 17, 2019
Much better than the sleeper bus, but that’s the best you could say about that train. The toilets are extremely disgusting, the sheets are not fresh or clean, it’s quite expensive considering what you get.

It's comfortably enough. But we where in an old part of the train. So the 1e class was a little bit disappointing comparing with a new part of the train. The Bed was shorter.l and the toilet was dirty.

The ride itself was ok considering it’s Vietnam and not spending much on advanced technology (rickety train and tracks) but what was disappointing was the amount of small roaches in my cabin. They need to fumigate the entire train. On the other hand, the employees were nice and helpful.

One of the best ways to travel while touring the country. Saves time working on the train. Very unclear on what stop is yours so it was very stressful knowing when to get off.

train #SE9 1st Class Sleeper, Vietnam Railways, Apr 11, 2019
We enjoyed our 16 hour trip on the train in 1st class sleeper. The 'soft beds' are pretty hard, and the sheets were not changed from the night before. No toilet paper, so bring your own! We had a mouse in our coupe. But still quite a comfortable way of travelling. Good airco, electrical sockets, and what a view outside the train window!

The confort of the 4 berth cabin is sufficient. The cabin could have been a bit cleaner, as for example the upper place to store the luggage in the cabin. The toilets are not sufficient for women: no seat in our coach. But travelling by train is a nice way to travel in the country and to meet families and people. In addition it is not expensive and represents a lower carbon emmission than using the plane: thus to recommend strongly!

We've chosen sitting train which wasn't that confortable for 14 hours ride (would be ok for 6 hrs.), but the personnel was very nice and helpful.
