We had to pay 300THB on top of the 12go ticket for the transfer between the train station and the ferry. Ferry was very warm and humid inside.

The departure place was easy to reach, they took us to the pier punctually. The boat had comfortable beds and okay bathrooms, the night view was really nice. We departed at 22:10 and arrived at 05:00.

Our Train from Bangkok to Champhong arrived 10 minutes after 6 a.m. The transfer to the ferry started at 6 a.m. I don't know, why our shuttle did't wait, because other companies like WeRoad waited to the persons. So we have to pay extra transfer to the ferry. Otherwise we should have waited 4 hours. This was no option with a child of 4 years. Bad experience. The ferry was okay.

Train was 1 hour delayed from Bangkok so they charged us 150 baht extra for the 30 min. trip in the back of a pick-up from the trainstation to the ferry point. Lomprayah ferry company rebooked us without extra charge to the next ferry with a 6 hour wait at the ferrypoint.

Everything was taken care of from the beginning to the end. The trip to island was crazy bumpy due to the weather so if someone has a poor stomach I don’t recommend Lomprayah.
