Bus was very comfortable and hardly anyone on it so we could all spread out. But very spacious anyway. Driver good enough, a bit grumpy but that’s ok. Snack pack given out. Visa process in Laos was quick. Was early to Luang Namtha BUT got dropped as bus terminal out of town and no tuk tuks or taxis at night. Had to hitch hike which as a lone female was frightening. Only time I could arrive though was 9pm. Contact your hotel before to see if they can pick you up. Other than that v good experience though.
