Official time of departure was half hour after the one we booked at 12go Asia. Left actually more than one hour too late. We were not in their list during check in so took them 15 minutes to add us. Boat stoped in the middle of the ocean and the engines were of for five minutes. Arrived at 6 pm instead of 3.30 pm. But the boat was spacious and good AC.

Overall this was good value for the money. The people from Golden Queen did a good job telling you were to go and told us where to pay the harbor fee that was not included in the ticket. Everything was on time, even arrived 15 minutes earlier to Bangsal Pier. No air condition in the boat, so it was a bit warm. The boat was full, but the seats were quite big so no problem.

Wasn't horrendous but it wasn't clear where to change our voucher for a ticket and on the boat the door to the main cabin (where everyone was sat) was locked which was strange especially because that door was labelled as emergency exit! Someone was feeling really hot and faint and they were banging on the door....but no response from any of the crew!

We were a little skeptical after all the reviews. But have to say in the end that everything went smoothly and we had a good trip to Lombock. However, we went on a boat from Manta Express and not as originally booked with Karuniya Jaya.

Trip was delayed by 20min, then it took 3.5-4 hours instead of claimed 2. staff "adapted" to loud and rude western tourists and behave like such, drinking beer, smoking, and making rude comments at women. Very loud music on the top deck. Luggage is handled very roughly.

When we opened our suitcase in the hotel after our boat ride, everything was wet. It definitly happened on the boat ride, because the luggage was stored in the front of the boat. Very unfortunate. The boat transfer itself was beside this very nice.

I was travelling to Bangsal but the boat stopped off at Gili Island first. My luggage was throw off and I had to ask the guys to put it back on the boat. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have lost my luggage!! Maybe, a sticker placed on the luggage at the time of booking stating the destination would help avoid problems like this.
