Da Nang to Nha Trang Destination Reviews

E
It got us from A to B, but was delayed, then extremely uncomfortable and cramped cabins with nowhere to put our bags- toilets were disgusting.

Train was on time and arrived on time to destination. We chose the 2nd class seats, our carriage wasn't too full, it was mainly local passengers, the train ride is at a nice pace, doesn't feel too fast or dangerous, we loved that we could choose our seats, unlike our bus journey, overall we had a okay night sleep, seat were fairly comfortable, great value for money

The car was good, also the Pickup. But the driver just drove like crazy. I did Not feel safe an also was worried about anyone else on the road. There was no need to drive this way.

You get to see a lot of the country side. It is beautiful. Overall it was comfortable but the train is a bit dirty. You might encounter bugs. We arrived 45 mins late.

Beds were fine, except there were no curtains even not in the 1st class cabins.

Vietnam Railways offers a great way to cover longer distances on your journey. It is easy to find your carriage & seat. I was unfortunately only able to book a 2nd class bed, but I was able to sleep on the slightly harder beds. If you book a little further in advance, you can get softer 1st class beds. Sometimes the air conditioning can be very chilly and it is advisable to have a scarf or something else warm with you. The online service and ticket via 12Go Asia were also great and helpful.
