What are the Train Classes & Prices of Talgo Train?
Depending on the length of your trip and your preferences you can choose a first or second class ticket in a sleeper coach for an overnight trip or opt for a hard or soft seat if available. - Travelling by night allows you to save on a hotel room and sleep well at the same time – opposite to a night bus where even the sleeping class is a huge compromise

Cons of Train Travel
- For longer trips a train ride is definitely more time consuming than air journeys
- Trains do ride on schedule but being out of schedule is not unheard of for train travel – and delays can be huge, so if you are planning a connection to your flight, carefully check the time your train arrives at the station and think twice.
- Cleanliness is sometimes an issue with second and third class tickets, and with toilets, too.
- If your train makes a lot of stops, in some cases it is difficult to figure out when to get off as stops are not always clearly announced or marked with the exception of an electronic screen.

This was a very complex booking experience that involved lengthy consultations with local booking agents and delivery of hard copies of tickets to our hotel. I was not at all confident that we would get our tickets until the last moment and it took a lot of time and mental energy to sort things out.

The concierge was so helpful though I couldn’t Tip him as I don’t enough cash with me. Though the ticket is too expensive. I will not buy the Train ticket again.

2★ – Misleading and dishonest service
Booking reference: BW4900416
I booked and paid about $75 on 12Go for what was clearly advertised as a Talgo train from Alexandria to Cairo.
Talgo trains in Egypt are the new high-speed trains, which is exactly why I chose that option and paid a higher price.
However, when I arrived at the station their representative handed me a ticket for train #88 instead — a regular, much slower train that costs about $40 and is NOT a Talgo service.
So I paid almost double for a service that I did not receive.
If the Talgo train was not available, the company should have informed me and refunded the difference instead of silently replacing it with a cheaper train.
This experience feels misleading and very unprofessional.
I cannot recommend 12Go and will avoid using them in the future.

C’est une mauvaise information sur le site Internet, car il n’y a pas de lit couchettes et des trains sont très vétustes, énormément sales.
Faut éviter ce genre de voyage pour des occidentaux.
Le personnel reste très gentil et la police très veillante.
Je les remercie, mais je note très mal le site.
Car ils m’ont rendu compte annuler sans causes trois voyages supplémentaire à venir.
