Oceanjet is a brand of a Filipino-owned Ocean Fast Ferries corporation started back in 1995 with a single vessel. Now, the company owns a fleet of 17 vessels, a mix of monohulls and catamarans.
Some of the company's vessels were built in Hong Kong, and several ships were designed by the Australia-based Global Marine Design and assembled in the Philippines by Golden Dragon Shipyard in Mandaue, Cebu. These include some of the most recent additions to the company's fleet, the 357-seat Oceanjet 588 and Oceanjet 888.
Today, Oceanjet is the largest fast-craft operator in the Visayas region.
Ocean Jet fast ferries ply the seas between destinations in the Visayas, Luzon region in the Philippines.
From their hub in Cebu, the company's fast ferries serve the following routes:
With over a dozen and a half departures a day, this two-hour Oceanjet route is by far the most popular one. Sailing from Cebu Pier 1, in Bohol Oceanjet vessels dock at Tagbilaran Pier (TAG), bringing you to the world-famous Chocolate Hills and cute tarsiers.
The Oceanjet Cebu–Camotes sea journey to a small piece of paradise full of white sand beaches, a rich underwater world, and stunning caves takes just an hour and a half, with two mornings and one afternoon departure.
A short one-hour-20-minute journey from Bohol brings you to Siquijor, also known as Isla del Fuego thanks to a great number of fireflies that inhabit the island.
Ocean Jet trip schedule features numerous departures on Batangas–Calapan (Oriental Mindoro) and Cebu–Bohol (Tagbilaran) route throughout the day. The majority of departures are morning departures; there are far fewer afternoon options and just a few – evening ones.
The popular Cebu–Camotes and vice versa route offers only three trips a day; the Siquijor–Bohol route is served only once a day while Dumaguete–Bohol is operated twice a day.
