Mui Ne Private Car uses different vehicles as taxis. Depending on the number of people in your group and your requirements to comfort levels you can choose the class of the vehicle which suits your best. A useful piece of advice – check the rates of a higher class vehicle even if you are comfortable to go with standard class. For example, sometimes operators offer huge discounts on vans, and a van taxi may cost you the same or almost the same as a standard class car but it is definitely more comfortable to travel by van as it has more legroom and luggage space.

Really professionally organized and right on time. Operator contacted me 2 days before our trip from Cat Ba to Hanoi airport and was always very responsive. A car took us to the cablecar station (had to pay 70k per person for the cable car) and then there was a second car waiting for us on the other side. Operator sent picture of the car + license plate beforehand so it was very stress-free. All in all it just went perfectly!

The driver was tired and we didn’t felt safe at all. 30 minutes after we started the travel, he reterally was falling a sleep. We had 3 hours left of travel and really we weren’t relax and confy.
In the other side, the organisation was good but they have to left the drivers recover and sleep…

Our trip went really well! drin Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh The driver was right on time and super helpful. However, the bus to Cambodia suddenly left half an hour earlier than scheduled. The driver had an accident (hit the car stopping at red signal from the back) and he took 1h 40m to settle the issue. The accident itself was minor and it does not take long time for settlement with insurance surveyor. However, he's been negotiating for personal compensation with the driver he hit for more than an hour. During the time we were obliged to wait. He's been communicating by video chat during driving, which is not good. Over all he drives slow but safe, which was not bad. MTM, he did not apologies for having us wait.

This was the most complex transfer I’ve made in the 2 months I’ve been here. I asked the transfer company to pick me up at 6:30am and it involved a taxi ride to the ferry and then another taxi ride to the airport. Everything went extremely smoothly. Excellent communication, the first taxi was there on time, the second taxi found me coming off the ferry right away. Very impressed and pleased with my transfer. Both taxi drivers were great!

I arrived at the airport earlier than planned and informed customer service accordingly.
The driver arrived fairly quickly, so I didn’t have to wait long. I was even given an upgrade to a larger, modern vehicle (SUV), which I definitely appreciated!
The driver spoke very little English, but that didn’t bother me much, as I was tired from traveling and preferred some quiet time anyway.
However, the driving style was concerning. At times, I genuinely wished I had been driving myself. There was frequent harsh braking, and although traffic - especially in the city - was very intense, it could have been handled more smoothly. In addition, even though it might be common in Vietnam, the driver used the horn excessively throughout the three-hour journey, which became quite irritating and annoying.
The most alarming moment occurred on a fast road when the driver was inattentive and touched a motorbike rider, even hitting her side basket. Fortunately, no one was injured!
The driver’s friendliness was acceptable, but there is definitely room for improvement. Unfortunately, this reflects a pattern I experienced several times during my trip in Vietnam when using private transfers or other forms of transport.
Upon arriving in Ninh Binh, the driver got lost multiple times, despite there being several clear routes shown on the navigation system. In the end, I had to guide him myself. Not a major issue, but certainly not the level of service one would expect for the amount I paid. We ended up driving around Ninh Binh for about 15 minutes unnecessarily.

The driver arrived right on time. The car I booked was clean and comfortable.
He obviously didn’t speak English, which didn’t bother me much.
Even though there was a language barrier, the driver could have been a little friendlier. Unfortunately, that was often the case whenever I used transfers or other forms of transportation in Vietnam.
Otherwise, the nearly 3-hour drive went smoothly and without any problems.
