The trip was scheduled to artive at 16:30, but the ferry we were braught to was scheduled to arrive at 17:00. Not really bad but mildly annoying for the hotel pickup driver.
We arrived, but travellers don’t get informed well when they have to change busses.

Drive from Ao Nang by minibus to the pier, then ferry to Cologne Phangan. Ride with the bus was perfectly ok. Everything on time, enough space, no problems. Unfortunately our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, which is ok. The weather is the weather. What was not ok was the procedure. We were herded off the bus with 4 others who wanted to go to Cologne Phangan "quickly get off" and then stood in a parking lot. What we did not know at that time: the ferry will not go. So now we stood in the parking lot in the middle of nowhere without information or a contact person. By chance, a family with a private driver also stopped there, which was informed by their resort and was so nice to inform us too. We stood there then 2.5 hours until once someone from port came and informed us. We could not go before, because it was unclear when the ferry will go again and how it was with our tickets. Thank God we had booked in time one of the few hotel rooms nearby, other people who arrived later had to switch to Surat Thani in 1 hour driving distance.

Fahrt von Ao Nang mit Minibus zum Pier, anschließend Fähre nach Köln Phangan. Fahrt mit dem Bus war vollkommen ok. Alles pünktlich, ausreichend Platz, keine Probleme. Leider wurde unsere Fähre wegen schlechten Wetters gestrichen, was auch ok ist. Das Wetter ist das Wetter. Nicht ok war der Ablauf. Wir wurden mit 4 anderen die nach Köln Phangan wollten aus dem Bus getrieben „quickly get off“ und standen dann auf einem Parkplatz. Was wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht wussten: die Fähre wird nicht fahren. Wir standen also nun auf dem Parkplatz im Nirgendwo ohne Informationen oder einem Ansprechpartner. Durch Zufall hielt eine Familie mit einem privaten Fahrer auch dort, die von ihrem Resort informiert wurde und so nett war uns auch zu informieren. Wir standen dort dann 2,5 Stunden bis einmal jemand von Hafen kam und uns informierte. Wir konnten vorher nicht gehen, da unklar war wann die Fähre wieder fahren wird und wie es sich mit unseren Tickets verhielt. Gott sei Dank hatten wir rechtzeitig eines der wenigen Hotelzimmer in der Nähe gebucht, andere Leute die erst später ankamen mussten auf Surat Thani in 1 Stunde Fahrtzeit Entfernung ausweichen
