- For the comfort of all passengers, smoking is only permitted on certain designated outdoor locations.
- Due to liquor license regulations you can only consume alcohol that has been purchased on board and the purchased alcohol must stay on board.
- There are power outlets on board and you can use your charging cables to keep your devices charged up. All outlets are for New Zealand 3-pin plugs only. But on-board shops sell travel adapters, if required.
- Infants (under 2 years of age) travel free of charge. Children (2-17 years of age) travel at a reduced fare. But they cannot travel unaccompanied.
- The free checked luggage allowance is 1 item per person with a maximum weight of 32 kg. The size must be no more than 200 linear cm (height plus length plus width). Please bring a small bag for your camera, wallet, phone, medication, coat etc.
- Wheeled cabin bags and backpacks are counted as check-in luggage!
- Only disability assist dogs are allowed in the passenger areas. Other pets and animals must be checked-in as luggage. All ships have kennels that can be included in your booking.
- Sporting equipment, such as surfboards, golf clubs, canoes and bicycles, any extra baggage, pets etc. can be carried on board only if booked in advance.
