Fortbewegung in Nha Trang

Sehenswürdigkeiten in Nha Trang

(z.B. VIP Züge in Thailand).

Man muss also eine Wahl treffen!

I’ll stayed 8h in the train. 2 Class only seat no bed. The employees were wery friendly and took care of you like when you had to go out. I recomend get a better class with a bed. The ride was wobbly and loud. It depends on how high your expectations are, but it was very okay.

We had a voucher four four people in a 4 person VIP sleeper. I went to the station the day before to try to get the actual tickets with cabin numbers but was told to return a half an hour before the train. We arrived an hour before and were told to wait and then someone ushered us through to the train with just the voucher. He was a helpful employee with no English but he got us to our cabin. The cabin looked fine but the teenage girls with us were freaked out by three different bugs going up the wall. Air con was nice and cold. It is great to leave from city centre in HCMC and arrive into the city centre of Nha Trang. We didn't see much scenery because we went overnight but previously enjoyed good views on longer routes. The toilets were very basic but functional.

Of course the the standard is not as a western 1. Class train, but it was a very cosy cabin and we managed to get some hours of sleep even though the ride is quite bumpy. We were really glad that we brought snacks since the food from the kitchen did not look that delicious. But all in all a very good experience.

As with other reviews, there was no Livitrans ticket place at HCMC. We had to ask platform staff for help. Carriage nothing like pictures and no different from standard despite paying extra. Small bottle of water and a face wipe was all that was provided. AC worked. Bring earplugs!

Hmmmm... had a so so Experience- one of the staff in blue uniform( female) in charge of # 10 train car was pretty brutally mean towards myself and my wife , we bought tickets online ahead of time( 2 weeks) and received our tickets at the Ho Chi Minh City train station- as we were boarding, the lady in blue, took our tickets and pointed to car 10. We found our cabin, got settled in, she came along and ordered us out!! Pointing to another cabin 2 doors down- abruptly demanding hurry hurry- ( very bullying)As I was putting my shoes on she yelled hurry hurry!!)...WOW!! Then after we finally got relocated- She ordered us back into the original cabin!???!! Also we paid 135.00 USD for 2 adult sleeper!!- I think the local people paid 20.00 USD or 464,000.00 VND

I cannot fault the hospitality of the staff. It was a toss up between 3 or 4 stars. Like most of Vietnam from my experience, the beds are on the hard side. Being 6'4" I was also just too tall for the bed.

We took the 1st Class 4 bedder sleeper from HCMC to Nha trang on 15/02/2019. The sleeper left very punctually, so please make an effort to reach at least 30mins before the train departure timing to give yourself time to look for the cabin and settle down. The train was as usual to all Vietnam sleeper trains, generally nice and clean sleeping areas. For travelers more particular about cleanliness, please do bring along a large towel/bed sheets to sleep on. As they do not change the bedsheets or blankets after every trip. The train cabins start out cool, but turn very cold in the middle of the night, so do get ready the necessary preparation. Most of our experiences with trains in Vietnam have been generally positive. However this particular train SE18, reached Nha Trang 2hrs behind schedule, so I recommend everyone to take the ‘Reunification trains’ which are SE1-8 so you may reach Nha Trang earlier.

Train was clean and comfortable But one of the staff woke me up an hour and half earlier claiming that we've reached my destination and told me to get off. Lucky I checked using my GPS to find out there's still 2 hours to go to reach nha trang. So maybe the company can add a display that shows which station they are at so that foreigners can understand where they are at Otherwise the ride was great.

It is was it is, your travel and accomodation all in one. The VIP sleeper was clean and looked quite new. USB charging point was a plus. Like other reviews, don’t rely on this journey for a good nights sleep as it’s noisy and you get a little thrown about. My wife was cold but I was ok, our AC seems to be broken and wouldn’t open or close any. Top bunks have storage above corridor before you enter the room which stored both our backpacks and other bags also. Overall I would definitely recommend, maybes pack some ears plugs and an eye mask for any chance of some sleep.

The compartment was reasonably clean, although some stains on bed linen. The floor of the toilet was covered by urine. The train ride is rather loud and bumpy so it is hard to get some sleep - take ear plugs. We also booked two lower berths but we were given an upper and a lower, and of course you share with others. As long as you don’t expect a luxury experience or a good night’s sleep, the train ride is fine. Had to pick up tickets from a different location than the one indicated on the voucher. We just asked around at the main reception and someone was willing to help us.

We booked VIP First Class Sleeper. It's certainly not that. It was a very old train and the only thing that distinguished our comparment from the class below was a vase of very shabby red plastic flowers. Perhaps we were unlucky and got an old train but it's nothing like the picture on the website. Also once you have made your booking it is absolutely impossible to contact 12GoAsia you want to ask questions or make changes, you just get in a loop on the website of previous questions and suggested responses and if it didn't answer your question the website sends you back to the beginning only to start all over again. Make sure your booking is correct as you won't be able to change it or get a refund. Tip turn off loud speaker in your room there's an off switch above the door.

Had a good trip between HCM and Nha Trang on what seemed to be a newish train. Cabin was clean and we were able to sleep well. Only negatives were the toilets which were not overly clean and the smell of which was throughout the train. Would travel again.

Given that this is Vietnam, the experience was pretty good. A man at Saigon met us at the station and walked us to our cabin. The cabin was reasonably clean. It was a smooth experience. Book with 12go with confidence.

We had no tickets on the railway station (!!!!!!), so we didn't know until last moment if we will able to depart! This situation was very stressful. Everyone was looking strange onto your voucher and was not able to help us. In the train, we had 6 people in cabin (in 4 berth sleeper!!!), toilets were horrible and the train was full of cockroaches. On the next trip, we have bought airplane tickets, becouse this experience was horrible. Never again!!!!!

First time in Vietnam and trying train ride from HCMC to Nha trang. I took the afternoon departure so didn't really require a long deep sleep, otherwise maybe i would have a bad mood. The 4 beds cabin mostly filled with kids, very noisy..or maybe because it's weekend i'm not sure. Well it's a once in a life time experience rather than fly. Bed was tidied when i entered, toilet was still clean, room a bit smelly,2 little bugs through out the trip. I got the upper bed so i think it was a little bumpy, maybe better on the below i dont know. I suggest to bring your own food if you dont want to walk all the way to compartment number 1 for food and they only served instant noodle when i went there.

Trip was great. Clean for what I expected, and a comfortable trip. Only arrived 10 minutes late, which is nothing. Not too happy about paying 544000 for a 398000 ticket but that is what happens when you use a third party to book your ticket. Recommend searching out the VIetnam train booking site direct.

Staff were well organised and we were directed to our cabin efficiently. Cabin and beds clean and comfortable. Only major concern was the toilet! Once the train started moving there was water slopping out of it - the floor was 5cm deep in water from the toilet, and the water was at a high level and slopping around in the bowl which made it unuseable, not ideal for an overnight trip!
