(z.B. VIP Züge in Thailand).

Man muss also eine Wahl treffen!

Cost effective, but not very comfortable. Very bumpy ride, beds/matresses are extremely hard. It was way too warm in the cabin without any possibility to get some fresh air. Heater on the top of the cabin was constantly blowing warm air inside the cabin which is especially bad when you have one of the upper beds.

The Trip to Sapa was very smooth and comfortable. The views from the lying beds were stunning and we were so glad we did it during day time to see more of the beautiful Vietnam. My boyfriend left his phone on the bus and even at 10 pm the helpline call managed to contact the bus driver to open the bus and let us search for the phone. Awesome service. Can only recommend their company.

The seats were okay , but it was full of really smelly backpackers . It was a horrible trip with this disgusting smell . We were so lucky when we were able to leave the bus !! The staff was pretty nice , but the bus was 1 hour late . It was heavy raining in Hanoi , and we called the company if it’s okay if they pick us up ( which they denied ) or if we arrive 10 minutes later during the lack of taxi service . They told us they’ll leave without us if we’re not on point . That was a lie , the bus waited for the smelly customers over an hour ! They should avoid the transportation of that guys ! The driver offered us a coffee and a nice chat in the office in Sapa . He was really polite , at least one really value point . I would never do that trip again. Im sorry for the nice staff , but they should think about the other customers which they’re loosing when they let that type of disgusting people in .

I think for Vietnamese standards the train is okay but for someone from Holland the ride was very bumpy. I slept reasonably well. The door could be locked from the inside and all the lights could be turned off. It was quite hot and there were some mosquitos. The toilet started fine but it was dirty and full of urine splashes at the end (I think because of the bumpy and shaky ride).

Comfortable sleeper bus, no space for bags though, all need to go in the under compartment of the bus. Reason for 4* and not 5* is the space on the bus is not brilliant and when I called the office they told me that they couldn’t pick me up, even though I was staying in the old quarter. I had to walk to the office and they then changed their mind and agreed to pick us up. Bus arrived at SaPa early.

The bus ride was nice and arrived on time. They also offer a free hotel pick up from Hanoi. However, we were asked to take of out shoes when we inter the bus since it is a Sleeper bus. I was first dropped off on a busy route without an english speaking guide. Then after making myself angry, he let me into the bus who was a sleeping bus. For me was the length okay but for people taller than 1m64, it must have been a horrible trip. Then in the middle of the night (at 3:00am) we stopped in a place with no lights, in the mudder. There were toilets but they were very dirty. We were able to sleep until 6:00am in the bus on that spot, which I didn’t know. I booked a hotel that night, so I lost my money then. No communication and no english speaking guide! Not nice!

Comfortable, deluxe seats and modern bus. We left 45 Min. too late without an excuse and stopped for 45 minutes half an hour before Sapa

The voucher is not your ticket. You need to exchange your voucher for a ticket, from the ticket office about a km from the station or ring the hotline and someone will meet you at the station with the tickets.

For the majority of the journey, there were alarming sounds coming from the outside of the carriage - a series of explosive bangs, clangs & dragging noises which reverberated through the carriage, making it sound like the carriage was about to fall apart! It was difficult to sleep because it was so loud. The driver made a few sudden stops throughout the night as well, which jolted you awake. The staff were grumpy if you didn't want a coffee (for 120,000 VND!!) The berths were fairly comfortable though & the free snacks/water were appreciated. Also, the process of buying & collecting tickets was made easy through 12go Asia.

You can't beat this on these bed-like seatings. You can sleep all the way there and feel refreshed by the time to get off. Danny the host was very helpful on giving instructions along the way.

Bus ride was safe and comfortable. Each of us were given cabin seat-beds. However, if you’re taller than 1.75m, movement and leg space of cabin seat-beds might be slightly limited. But overall, pick-up and journey was easy and smooth.

Space very squeezy- both the sleeping area and the walk to the front/ back of bus, toilet was smelly with no toilet paper. Not enough space for small bag and shoes. No charging port but wifi works.

Extremely comfortable. It arrived on time. They give 1 bottle of water and a coconut snack. There are 2 stops during the trip and there is also a toilet in the bus. However, tall people can have problems because the sleepers are not very long.

Overall our trip was very very good. Easy picking up tickets, attendants pointed us to correct train car, etc. Cabin was clean, with clean sheets. We saw that there was WiFi but never got the password. Train bathroom was questionable but not the absolute worst. No toilet paper when we first arrived, but it was refilled the next morning. There were 2 sinks separate from toilet so you can brush teeth, etc.! We got a 2-person private cabin, so the mattresses were doubled up, firm, which I liked. Train is rocky and loud so bring ear plugs! Would do it again!

Clean, tidy room, though it is a cabin so was very small. If you're taller than 5 10' you won't be able to like out straight. Train ran on time and there were no complications.

Do not go in to this with high expectations. Know that the train is old, beds are uncomfortable, journey is a bit wild and it is very noisy. It’s clean enough, but if you’re expecting luxury then that it is not.

The whole cabin had an underlying toilet stench which took a long time to get used to (unfortunately the only option). The ride was too bumpy, I consider myself a deep sleeper and even I woke up 3-4 times at night, while some in our group weren't able to sleep at all. The AC didn't turn on for the first 3rd of the trp 2 starts only because it got us to sapa on time and the bed/pillow/sheets looked clean.

Bumpy ride. Couldn’t sleep much. And try to get the whole room to your bunch as staying with a snoring person all night would also cut your sleep quality.

- Very dirty bathrooms, really unacceptable for this rate - airco in face while trying to get some sleep on hard and too short bed (if your height is >1.80m) - offering coffee is great, but not if the train arrives within 1 minute after receiving it

Reached hotel 30 minutes earlier than expected; fast n car is comfort. Driver need to focus on driving typically drive along the Sapa hill route. Making numerous call when driving at hill road is dangerous. My parents was sat at the end seats, very shaky n bumpy because of the uneven road. Like a roller coaster. Recommend driver may slow down when passing the bumpers road in future. Overall my experience is good, driver driving behaviour need to improve. Have a bit of interaction with passengers would be great

The train bed is small but just sufficient space to sleep. The toilets are not the cleanest so if you want to use, use it before sleeping. Someone will knock on your door to wake you up in the morning - to sell you coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate. There is a toothbrush set, some crackers and wet wipes provided on the train as well. Also refrain from bringing a large luggage as the room had not much space to walk. 12go.asia is reliable! Managed to get my tickets at the location they mentioned as well.

Very disorganized. The company booth is at the other side of the train station (Google map it before you go). They don't have offices, instead tickets are sold in a small snack shop by two bored teenage girls. The train is a bit crappy but is ok, sometimes smells like cigarette. Toilets are very clean. The beds are quite ok and the staff inside is helpful.

A bit expensive than actual price but it makes sure that I will have a lower bed. The train departs exactly on time. No whistle of the train during at night, doesn't like day train. So you can sleep easier. I got coach no. 1 which is the oldest coach of the train, but it is just old, not difference much than the other coaches.
