We booked the #32 to depart Hat Ya 17:45 for Bangkok, This was one of the ‘newer’ trains. It was at the platform about 16:30 so plenty of time to sit on it and relax prior to departure. We only booked 4 days in advance and 12Go ensured the tickets were ready for us to collect in the parcel room at Hat Yai station on the day of travel. The parcel room operator knew exactly what/who we were the minute walked through the door so I’m guessing they have this a lot! (The parcel room is just to the left hand side of platform 1). The trip back to Bangkok took 18.5 hours in the end , I think it should have been about 17.5, not an issue for us really. We purchased enough food before we left Hat Yai for the duration of the trip as on a previous route (Bangkok to Chiang Mai) the food service hadn’t reopened since covid so thought the same for this. In the morning (from about 7am) staff did walk up and down offering various snacks so I guess they’re trying to some kind of food service back on track. Just remember if you want a lye in in the morning, don’t let the conductor see your awake otherwise they’ll try and pack the bed down as early as they can! Although some of the announcements are made in English for the stops, the staff walking up/down the isle generally only talk in Thai so it’s not easy to know what they’re saying half the time but didn’t really effect us. Overall it was a good experience again and I’d recommend it if you want a cheaper way to travel back up north.

Getting the ticket from 12go was a good experience. They answered all my quieries. Getting the ticket from Hatyai office was also a pleasant experience. Train ride in 1st class was definitely a very different experience from the usual 2nd class sleeper. This will be my preferred choice of travelling in the future if we ever take this train again.

The Sleeper AC is freezing cold, the upper bed is way smaller then the lower bed (nearly the same price though). No space at all for personal belongings, no charger, kids and people selling stuff screaming around all night long. Be prepared to bring warm clothes and earplugs / sleeping mask.

The train was great - clean, brand new and one of the safest transportation. It'll be better if the service provider can provide a cafeteria or at least a hot water service on the train since the journey took 20hr from Hatyai to Hua Lamphong.
And also need to train the staff in the parcel room as it creates confusion when we wanted to collect our online tickets. They do not know where and how to redeem our tickets!

My journey was delayed for 9 hours. I heard it was due to flood and train can't move. Btw, the announcement was in Thai language and I can't understand that. Suggest to have announcement in English as well since the passenger are not local only.
The train shall arrived at 11 am however I only arrived at 7.50pm. what a shocking experience but I do accept it due to nature problem. But the management should consider to have a cafeteria that can provide food especially HALAL food for Muslim. I can't buy food from outside seller since their not selling halal food but as a responsible transportation company, the train should accommodate regarding food matter as me and my friend are starving and down with gastric due to not taken any proper food since morning until evening.
Hope the management will consider my suggestion for better service in future. Thanks

The facilities and everything was great. Just not my luck, i met with a rude crew. There were few vacant seats in my coach i was in. I was with the other 3 persons waited for the crew to open all the beds, but it seems that she chose to prep/open the beds which were vacant(no body was on the seats she was preparing).
The other two passengers were elderly, and they look tired. My friend and i volunteered to go and check with the crew if she will open the bed for us. She replied us with a not nice tone, that she will open the bed for us, its as if we were being entitled. She was on her phone texting.
Just so she didn't know, we have been patiently enough waited for her. If the crew could read my review, the best is, you should prepare the bed/seat that has passengers, not the vacant one. She opened all the vacant seats' bed, and make herself tired because of her wrong work strategy and got angry when passengers asked nicely for their bed to be opened. She even dared talk bad about me in her language in front of me to the elderly. The elderly are Thailanders. They just listen and didn't respond much to her. Probably the crew thought the elderly were on her side. Nope mam, you are wrong they probably were grateful, we went to you and asked cause they were tired.
My tips to the traveler, if you met one crew like this, and you are tired, just ask on the spot, so the crew alert you need your bed to be opened. If she/he started open the bed with no passengers, just ask them to open yours first. Asked them nicely.

The booking with you was smooth and great.
However, the train ride at certain patches was a big rough close enough to cause a bit of motion sickness. So we had to sleep early to overcome it. It was quite and experience though.
I also thought we will end up at Bang Sue Grand Station. Then only I realize we ended up getting down at the small station and had to take a motorbike taxi ride to go collect my car from the Grand Station Underground car park. Of course, these are not your fault.
The booking with you was smooth and will continue to use your services.
