It was an experience I will never do again in my life. 1) departure in ticket is 7pm but the driver said they will leave at 8. When asked why 7pm is written in the ticket, he shunned and said for all passengers to arrive early. 2) I booked Mengwi to Malang bus knowing they will drop us at Malang terminal. What they did was the bus intended destination is really Bali to Surabaya. They transferred us again to another bus from Surabaya to Malang thereby extending our ordeal. The entire trip was a total of 14 hours which was miserable. 3) the driver was smoking inside an airconditioned bus. I don't know if this is a standard in Indonesia but its totally unacceptable since we were seated just at the back of the driver's seat.

The driver, the staff, everyone was super friendly. There was a free snack goodie bag and a break with a free dinner buffet.

We left more than 3 hours late and arrived more than 4 hours late. Bus quite basic but provided with sockets, a lot of legroom and many meals offered during the way. Overall not a bad experience

The Bus was left punctual and arrived on time. The staff very helpful. The Bus was well prepared for the long ride (blanket, pillow, lying seat) but the air conditioning was extremely cold to the point where you could see your own breath and the water started dripping from the ceiling. Overall I can still advice to take this Bus but you should speak to the drivers in between to regulate the AC.

You can just go to the terminal and book your ride there. On 12 go you can't book 95% of buses.
