Bus was very uncomfortable.
Bus driver told us quickly and only in Russian where we could sort of find the bus after the border, 300 meters away at an unmarked location. They left 1 person behind because they weren’t there “on time”

The trip from Tashkent from Samarkand was good. The train was on time, finding the platform at the station was clear and the ride was pretty comfortable, except of the lack of AC.

Some drivers could NOT find Hotel Deluxe and had to call hotel to get directions. Took extra time and confusion- especially as a tourist with language barrier.

Tashkent to Samarkand train(operator: Nasaf) was good, but the return trip from Samarkand to Tashkent train(operator: Sharq) was REALLY BAD. They should replace the seats of entire fleet. The seat condition of the return train(Sharq) was worse than trains in India.

It was ok but the staff asked us to go down the stairs and go up again to go to the other side of the tracks (Platform 3). We were carrying heavy baggages!! Then when we reached the Platform, we found out that he allowed other passengers to cross the main platform (platform 1)! It was so frustrating since we had to run and drag our baggages up and down the stairs!
We were so tired!
