The mini van departured 50 min late and in the end the delay was even bigger. The van was a bit older (compared to the pictures at their websites) and was designed for 14 passangers, but there were 16 seats. It had almost no space for lugages, so the lugages were all around the bus. Otherwise ok, the AC worked.

Stopped twice, once at a bakery with toilets and again at a petrol station (unsure if there were toilets). Driver was friendly. No air con so it was very hot, wouldn’t have managed well without my hand fan.

They decided to cancel the time I had booked and left an hour later than planned. Probably to join people of two buses and save money. Almost missed my connection as a result. The actual van was fine and comfortable.

Great experience overall, left on time and arrived ahead of schedule and that’s even picking up three people on the way and a very decent coffee/toilet break. Definitely would use EkaReach Express again

The entire process from online booking through 12go , seat selection , to checkin and boarding on EkaReach bus very smooth for journey Phnom Penh to Kampot. Office staff at Phnom Penh could speak basic English. Digital booking to checkin at office was accepted on mobile phone which is convenient as printing is not convenient when traveling. Price reasonable. Bus was on schedule and in good condition. Seat & cabin temperature was comfortable , and seat belts working order. Good amount of rest stops and very efficient (a couple quick breaks for toilets and purchasing of snacks /water / refreshments during 3 hour journey). The rest stops also were very new and fairly clean (the 2nd stop was better as it had western toilets, hand soap and toilet paper , with helpful staff). In general this trip was very civilised and we would use EkaReach again. We hope they might do service Kampot to Sihanoukville in the future .

Overall correct. But we had to wait for someone for 20 minutes, only 10 minutes after leaving. Then the driver made several stops on the road at the request of some passengers.

Air conditioned mini van, left on time and arrived on time. One short toilet/food stop. Seating was crowded in the bus as there’s no real space for your bags, so legs are squished up but apart from that can’t complain for the price!

Service was adequate. Left on time and good aircon in the van. It was a bit tight with bags and luggage inside the van but manageable as it's a 3.5 hours ride. Did a bathroom stop at a clean place an hour before arriving.

Worst travel day I’ve had so far. Boat was fine but then when we finally got onto the worst cramped bus ever, we ended up staying on the hot bus in Sihanouk for so long with the driver just stopping and getting out constantly. We got on the bus at 11.20 and didn’t leave Sihanouk until 3pm… luckily we changed busses at Phnom Penh onto a much better one. Our original arrival time was 18.30 didn’t get to Siem Reap until 23.30 lol. So expensive too

On the first leg of the journey from Kampot to Phnom Penh, the driver was driving way too fast. Two or three times he had to brake and swerve abruptly. Absolutely no regard for the passengers safety.

Kind and helpful staff. I just wish the route information was clear beforehand. It took a bit longer than planned. But the drivers were good and got us there promptly.

The customer service at the pick up office was good and the information before hand was fine, and the minibus was fine also, although the leg room wasn’t great.
The main issue was that the driver was very poor. The road between Sihoukanville and Kampot is for long stretches an uneven dirt track with very large deep pot holes, with heavy traffic. For a road of this type, the driver was driving far too fast, swerving at high speeds to dodge pot holes and bikes, and often doing needlessly sketchy overtakes. I’ve done some very dangerous journeys before on Nepals Himalayan roads, but this journey, on a flat coastal road made me considerably more stressed.

I thought I had pre-selected seats in middle of van but we ended up with 1-2. 1 is basically a kiddy seat between the driver & passenger seats in front. It is not suitable for a grown man to sit on for more than 3 hours. As the bus was full he couldn’t move. Otherwise fine. Was on time & good price

Easy to find the office and people helpful! Van was fairly comfortable just not much leg room on the front seats but it was okay for a couple of hours. We had water and a toilet break. Felt safe in the van. Helped us ensure we were on the correct ferry. No issues at all!

Bus etcetera ok, but driver almost the whole way on his telephone. Not safe and not comfortable to hear somebody speak the whole way...
And also not understand you almost tell the drive is 3 hours, but reality it's almost 4 (3 h and 45 min from Kampot to PP)
